If this is true, I wonder what happens if all 2hours are in used prior to him using. Better yet, have an alliance of SCHs, DNCs, BLUs, COR,s and PUPs take him down ^^. lol J/K. In all seriousness, this does look like a logical conclusion.

And I think someone mentioned this before, he doesn't seem to use combination 2hours, or reuse the same 2hours, with the players 2houring. Whatever it is, the answer is with our 2hours, since that is when they zoom into the text. How funny would it be if this has been right under everyone's noses all along....

so lets say he was beaten over an 8 game day period, 7 hour fight.. How many Linkshells have people that can stay for 2 kirins back to back.. let alone JoL AND another 7 hours to chance beating him. And if ya saw in the video, AV never used Manafont, nor did they ever show him using comet, which = wipe.

Because SE was only ment to give us a hint, not right-out say what the solution was. Showing everyone using their 2-hours at start and then show him dying doesn't really hint towards anything. Using your 2-hours right after his 2-hour is a much better way of hinting that the solution lies within 2-hour usage.

edit: come to think of it, he still uses BST 2-hour and DRG 2-hour without one of those jobs in the alliance, so nevermind that then.

Funny, the last time my sea LS popped/wiped to AV, not one DRG was in the entire alliance, or in the area. Yet he still popped his Wynav's.

So, you go ahead and blow all your 2 HR's/Call Wyvern's at the start, Uzor. Send me a tell how it went.
 
Just a theory. Who said this whole video is in one sitting? I dont honestly think the devs would spend an entire work day trying to kill it once. I mean the fact that it started on iceday went to thundersday and ended back on iceday doesnt necessilary mean they did it all in one 7hr sitting, maybe they just went on days that the Blms would be able to do more damage with obi's and whatnot. All we were promised was that "You'll see a video of the Dev team beating AV" they didnt say how long, in 1 sitting, or anything like that; just that we'd see it die AND see tips on how to lock its 2hrs, nothing more nothing less.

I personally dont think SE would add a mob that takes 7hrs to beat. 2-3 hours ok, dynamis takes that long, its not out of the realm of possibility. But 7hrs? Common, with those hours people wouldnt be able to play the game and go to work or school the next morning since it would take all night and into the next day to accomplish and thats with PIMPED out parties. I hardly believe they would say at the start of every game "Dont neglect school/work/family" only to add a mob that takes longer then the normal 8-hour work day to kill (JoL included with that). Ex. Say you get home from work around 6pm~ish. That means that you would have to be ready, looking at the ??? with everyone in your shell ready at the same time, just so you can go to bed around 4am the next morning. SE is bad, but not THAT bad.

This video is creating more questions than answers... I'm surely going to watch Kaizen tries on AV now more closely.

They probably prioritize some 2hrs more than others. As such, no one uses a 2hr for Hundred fists, that's a pussy one.

It's not as bad as chainspell + manafont.

If he just chainspells he just does aeroga IV which apaprently can be survived with baraero.

No worse than being hit by Stonega IV from Kirin.

considering the WHM is likely using Benediction around then too, you could possibly get full HP back as well.

You spent many days, I would imagine, trying to get your osode and byakko's haidate. How is this any different?

Edit: Camping PCA for days on end would also fall under this, no?

it's different for many reasons; one of which is that you dont have to go back after the item drops and when it drops the item belongs to you.
Considering the number of different drops + the amount of people needed to fight AV you aren't just camping an item for yourself or a small group of friends. You are camping for approximately 36+ people with a NM that takes about 1 month to pop at a time if you're lucky.(estimated)

This is true for the PCA, but last I checked, I'm still in Kirin's room every Saturday even though I got my wlegs a couple weeks ago, and Nbody a couple months ago. Once I get my Osode and Haidate, I'll still be in sky helping my shell.

Kirin takes what 2 1/2 hours for a shell not TP burning it, meanwhile AV would take 8 hours+...
