I'm confused. Clothed women are not allowed here? God forbid I open the Baltimore post later when there's pictures of the Chesapeake Bay dive later. I mean, there may be people in swimwear. Which covers as much as lingerie. Now, he's the real kicker and it's going to be offensive. Simply, I don't care:

How insecure are you with yourself? I mean, honestly, how do you feel about yourself? Do you feel threatened or demeaned by a picture of an attractice woman? If you're complaining about it, then probably. But this is the truth, and damnit you people need to learn and observe it: People bitch about what they're too lazy to fix. Fat? Work out. Broke? Get off the fucking game and get a god damn job. Unhappy with your place in life? Go to college and get a degree to do what you want. Don't have time? Work around it, cut out your personal life. Ugly? Paper bag, plastic surgery, shit... who cares? How a person acts defines who they are. In definition, I would say any who even complained about the avatars is an insecure child. Take offense all you want, I say we just put up bikini clad women all over. There was no nudity, and certainly no more nudity than you would see in a movie rated PG-13. So, once someone can explain to me why their titties were in such a twist I'll bother with this. Otherwise, take this cry baby shit to Utah because the only people I know that prude are mormons.

Umm how does not wanting to look at bikini-clad women as you say (although many are less than bikini clad) make a person insecure? Maybe it's just something not everyone wants to see when they look at this forum. Some of us want to see FFXI related information and discussions. Shocking, I know.

Personally I don't care if people post links to whatever as long as they're properly labeled and in suitable threads. I just don't like having to look at a mostly naked picture everytime I come to this site. Call me a prude if you like but it's not prudish to not want it flashing on your screen everytime you come to a site to read about a video game.

What are you expecting on the flameboard? Lollipops being sucked on by 65 year old men dressed in tuxedo's? Hell no, you're getting lollipops being downed on by hot women. I don't want to see gay people making out, but they're allowed to do it and I respect their right to do it. You don't get what you want in life, that's an easy life lesson there. You want something, you fight for it until your last breath. If it comes easier then that, chances are it's not worth it or you shouldn't have it.

Yes you don't always get what you want in life, including total freedom of speech and expression.

I'm not objecting to things on the flameboard. Honestly, I don't even really care how many naked people you put in threads that are labeled for it. I just don't like it all over the avatars because then I have to look at it if I want to view any threads. Yes, mostly because I view this site at work. It's not like it offends me but I don't think I should have to look at half naked chicks unless I choose to.

For me it was the derailing of too many threads to tits and ass. lol. Idc about looking at it (as long as they aren't nasty rock hard fake ones that some were sporting lol).
 
to those of you that missed or didn't bother reading most of this thread, the arguement isn't just about showing a picture of a woman in bikini.

The point is a month ago several people had avatars like that and that wasn't a problem. Then two days ago someone posted a porn picture or two or three, and we all agreed those need to go. However, the mods turned into Sculli jr. x10 and removed anything that had remotely sight of skin. Like Sanoske's avatar got removed and he had it for like forever now and no one gave a shit. And then Shyrra put a picture of a girl wearing a normal top that shows cleavage and that got removed too lol

And then you guys go around posting, this is nothing like Sculli

instead of actually fixing the problem of porn pictures, mods removed anything that showed skin. Don't you guys think you went a little overboard?
