Avatar question

I recently got ninja to 50, and I've always said that when I get high enough I'm going to get the avatars for summoner.

All I want to know is what level you need to be for a group to let you tag along, or what level you can ask a group to fight it and you just stand back.
 
You can have any old group do it for you and you stand back even at level 1. You don't even have to be alive to get the win.

To actually fight the avatars properly, level 60 is a safe baseline for the regular avatars. Fenrir is 70+, strongly prefer 75 though...
 
get SMN to 20, the minifhgts are an awesome experiance
 
If you do primes, wear +hp and be 65+ or the 2h will most likely kill you -.- (998 Tidal wave last night.. /sigh)

Most recruit PT's of 65+, but as a Nin .. you'd tank so prolly 68+... Though it can be solo'd by some 75 jobs, like mnk, rdm, smn.
 
i will have to say that any smn should do the solo fights it helps alot in learning how to solo and also helps you learn how to kite. any smn who has done the solos is as good a kiter as any other job in the game as long so no one hits the mob

Anyway I'd do the mini fights too, they're a great learning experience and let you keep the whispers when you do the primes for your moon bauble rather than trying to put groups together to fight each avatar twice.

Lol, thas why I took the screenie. begins with "no worries" and ends with "okay worries" made me laugh quite alot. things looked down so I 2hrd, tidal wave hit for 800, ifrit hit me for that after stoneskin and I ate floor. But we won! :P

I kept my miniforks, do the minifights but bottle out and die at the end, this way I have a free teleport to every cloister.

Funniest ifrit I've ever done...

Too bad you missed the bit on the screenshot where I handed ifrit's ass back to him on a plate for killin my bud :)
