Avatar sizes.. I mean honestly...

How big does it have to be? Ever heard of fireworks? Photoshop? Paint? lol

Use it sometime...

Your oversized avatars are screwing up the forums. Did you know this forum had rules about avatar and sig sizes? I'm pretty certain they are there for a reason.

phpBB officially states the following for the off-site Avatar images:
"Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB."

Reason being is that larger Avatars tend to mess up the board design. I have since found that 100x100 is acceptable as well, beyond that things start to mess with the board format.

Please keep Avatar images to no larger than 100x100 pixels, and no larger than 10kb in file size.

I'll fix mine once I get the chance, as of now Im using a computer without photoshop.

You computer may not have photoshop, but it must have paint. enev then you can download photoshop off the internet or an equivalent program.

I sincerely came here thinking you were bitchin about the size of Avatars ingame, which was pretty funny, cause i was in crappy Yhoator Jungle last night, and was pulling, but was having the hardest time cause there was a smn pt to one side and a bajillion ppl to the other.

Damn onion would hit me 18 times before i got to camp =p

Anyways, yah, i don't have a sig

Krono, if you can't get a good avatar size on your current computer, just don't use an avatar. Or find a smaller one online. It's that simple.

Does everyone realize having a signature is not a requirement? You can't follow the damn rules? I mean, Don't have the program? DON"T HAVE A FUCKING SIGNATURE! Don't know how to resize? ASK? or DON"T HAVE A FUCKING SIGNATURE! I mean, this isn't freakin rocket science. And this isn't hte first time this has been posted.

It gives you the freakin specs of sigs allowed in the rules and guidelines... don't feel like reading it? DON"T BE FUCKING SURPRISED if people start complaining. I mean there's always somebody who needs to be the rebel of the group and defy the bloody rules and then give some retarded excuse. Sorry, this is a bit out of character but this is such a STUPID topic that shouldn't even be here because people should just be smart enough to follow this simpnle rule... :twisted:

Korno, host your avatar somewhere, imageshack for example, ill get it and resize it for you. That goes for everyone else btw, send me a pm with the link to a hosted pic and i will resize them for you and rehost them :D

Signature Images

The issue with sig images is a similar one, large ones tend to mess with the board layout.

Please keep Signature images to no larger than 550x200 pixels, and no larger than 50kb in file size.

In addition please use one sig image per post. When replying to a thread you have the option to uncheck "Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)". This is not an issue if you do not use sig images, but does make a difference when someone with a sig image replies to a particular thread 20 times.
