I'm not buying it or burning it. Everything produced by them after Waking The Fallen is complete excrement IMO. They went from Metal to Sissy-metal all at the stroke of a pen across paper. Thank you Warner Bros. for fucking up something good. If you want to spend your money on proper metal, go out and buy the new cd from The Autumn Offering, which also comes out tomorrow.

First off, best user name ever. Spicy pants ftw.

Secondly, Waking was their best album by far, but I still liked City of Evil. I thought I read somewhere that he can't scream like he used to because of something in his throat, which is why they changed their sound.
 
City of Evil = $15 Frisbee. Anyways, I'm more pissed off at Atreyu's new album. What a bunch of bullshit that cd is. Anyways, as for M. Shadows' throat problem, my theory is that he can't scream anymore due to large amounts of Warner Bros. executive cock he is smoking. At least I got to see them perform live, when they were on Hopeless Records, and still good.

Do some research before shooting your mouth off, A7x modified their style (lol, "sissy metal", what a fucking stupid term) because the guy that, you know, does all the vocals and all that... well, I get the impression he kinda wants to be able to keep using his voice down the road.

Or would you rather have ~3 more OMG POWAR METAL LOLOLOLOLOL albums and then watch the guy's life shatter because he can't speak at all anymore?

Never heard of The Autumn Offering, but everything else - yeah pretty much. "Bursted blood vessel", please, what a lame fucking excuse. If you can't do your vocals anymore, put the fucking mic down and walk away. A physical issue like that is an excuse to quit, not an excuse to start making shitty ass sissy-metal. If a guy that did porn suddenly got his dick chopped off would he keep putting out shitty porn? No, he'd quit because his means of living just got kicked out the door. M.Shadows needs to fucking retire.

I used to listen to their stuff back when I first got into metal, but I don't even listen to Waking the Fallen anymore, and that used to be one of my favorite albums. I didn't stop listening to them because City of Evil sucked(I mean, Metallica is still my favorite group), I guess my tastes just changed, I don't like much of anything of theirs anymore.
However, Chapter Four will always remain a badass song, no matter how much I couldn't care less about em.

I listened to it a little while ago. Not bad. I don't regret the purchase at all.

I also just finished Blackout (Brittney Spears). At the risk of my manliness, I have to say I liked it. A lot.

A better comparison would be if a porn star lost one of his balls. It'd be odd to look at but he could still fuck with the best of 'em. ;x
