Interesting, very...Interesting. Lets see if I got this right. See, there are a few people, on this server, who 99% of the server can agree, are gil sellers. Everblack, Kriseman, Avgirl, Houston, and thier lackeys (most of which have fucked up names I don't feel like spelling). There are some others. Yes, there are people who act like gil sellers, yet, do things like normal players, and thier RMT status could be debated. But here...we have a KNOWN gilseller, and yet, someone is defending them? Trying to convince the 99% they are not? This, from what I see, is someone's attempt to say "Fuck everyone, us 1% know what we are talking about, the rest of you are fucking NOOBS!!!!"

So, let me throw down my two cents. You can pick that two cents up after, and buy a fucking clue.

I don't give a shit about your equipment, its not the point of this flame. This flame has to do with a INFAMOUS ASSHAT GIL SELLER...and yet, you want to come and steal the spotlight. Whats that say about you? Its like...defending a child molester...I mean, only ones who "Really know" is the child and the sick fucking pervert. For all we know Shaunessy, Vang could very well sell gil. (Not saying you do Vang)

However, if he does, he is being incredible subtle about it - I mean come on. He has really good gear. Especially considering he isn't out camping money mobs 24/7. He doesn't farm 100% of his time. For Vang to sell gil, he would have to camp a lot more than he does.

RMT as the term everyone uses, refers to the people in which devote 100% of their play time to making gil, or being able to make gil. I DID farm against Avgirl, and I can say everytime I am there, he/she was as well. Take off your blinders - when was the last time you played FFXI 24/7 or if I do the math 168 hours in a row. I bet you haven't. I bet one person playing Avgirl hasn't gone longer than 20 hours playing Avgirl.

Stop being the prick that introduces controversy to the thread and just read. You are splitting hairs that don't exist.

Man, this has gone from 5 pages to 7 in the time it took to read all the posts and write a response.

So don't claim your gear is good when you could do 2x as much damage with a different set.

Just because you don't use snippers, that doesn't mean they suck.

One problem with this, you can't level a 47 sam in gustaberg. And I don't get how the acc+4 on republic gear inside controlled zones is huge, but the +10 acc on a pair of snipers is worthless. Yeah, your sam is at the low evasion mobs stage of exp.

Here's a nice little chat I had with Avgirl, I was screwing around killing goobs waiting for some friends to show up to the tree, and got a tell out of nowhere from him.

First off, the "chkdsk" was something that he said in /say as I was standing next to him. Not sure if it was a mt, or some command he had worked into a bot (he ran a slightly above normal speed, without any +speed gear) So when he sent me a tell I responded with "chkdsk" just to see if he would react to it. He also sent a tell to a member of my party who showed up and started killing goobs too while waiting on the rest of the group. Called him a gilseller as well.
 
I somehow doubt you sold someone a Venerer for 400k off the street price, when it's 500k right NOW...
 
with 20 mil in gear you should be using snipers to build tp, then swapping in str rings for WSs.
 
Funny point... Snipers are not worth it.. but he has Winged Boots+1.
I have NEVER seen Winged Boots+1 on the AH.. they are insanely rare.. and for what.. ONE defense?

I've been there plenty of times when she hasn't... and most of the time she's there, she's there alone...

She occasionally farms other areas too... I was competing with her in Pso'xja for a little while.
 
gilseller have defently gotten better over time most of them are not the newbs they use to be
