After all that work. I can't even begin to tell you how many chigoe I fetched for that crazy cat.

I mean literally, I lost count. Off to work on Babban next. I never want to see the inside of Crawlers' Nest ever again.

Sandy and windy lost some zones, whats up slackers? :P

busy keeping your asses alive, what happened to losing control of your home town? glad you guys are on your feet now

That was Windurst.

And stay the fuck out of our campaigns. You're just gimping our rewards by doing damage we could be doing instead, all for an even further gimped reward since you're fighting a foreign battle. I know you San d'Orian and Windurstians might be a little sad about losing Eldieme and Garliage, again, but theres no need to ride coattails pretending you've won battles. Nobody even goes to Crawlers' Nest(Two weeks spent recruiting Choh, rarely saw another person,) and we still manage to hold it fine, so what's wrong with you guys? Our NPC Commander is even glitched. Else leaves Bastok, but never shows up in Nest, despite her squadron appearing. We're literally handicapped by having the worst accessable dungeon and no commander there, and we still win.

I really wish they'd make /blockaid do something in campaign(preventing people from assisting freely would be awesome,) and restrict it to nation affiliation only.

Also, nice recon guys. 0 and 1. Bet you can't even see your own stats there.

Ahh, reconnaissance. What a very vague topic - almost as vague as most of the Freelances still remain. Though what can be ascertained so far, and this is verified by the testimonies of many - Reconnaissance level is seemingly dependent on the completion of Campaign Ops under the Intel Gathering category.

However, there seems to be a catch/requirement to having these missions. The beastmen must own an outdoor area (dungeons apparently don't count) on your nation's front. I believe there to be some truth to this, as I've not once, since the expansion launch, received any Intel Gathering missions in San d'Oria - cause San d'Oria's never once lost an outdoor area so far.

If this is true then one might say that it'd be more beneficial if the Beastmen controlled more territories. Though it still doesn't explain exactly why Windurst is currently at 0, since for a week or two they were the worst off. So obviously there are plenty of unseen factors involved.

Mmm, gotta love the vagueness.

Some facts taken from this BG topic:

Nay sir, you can vote once a week for your nation to improve upon an aspect. One of them is intel. Bastoks has gone up, despite a lack of beastmen owned territories. No doubt that the Intel ops affect it, but it's not the only method to raise it.

I generally fight for bastok alot because, sandy never has any work to do, we just get the job done too quickly. And no one cares about Eldieme and Garliage.

I spend alot of my campaign time defending the home front in North Gust, it gets very few people attending from what I can see so I spend alot of time running about putting out fires till the npc's can take over. Rolenberry fields is packed everytime I go to it, things are dead before I can cast on them most times.

I'm still feeling my way around this mode and havent been to every fight zone as of yet.

I just watch the cam. map and go where the battle is. (Bastok territory, of course.) Sadly, becaue you can't teleport to crawlers for whatever reason I don't go there often but we seem to have it under control a lot of the time so I guess some people are working very hard.

I really love this addition to the game, its fun, stress free, and gives pretty decent xp and allied notes. I made almost 10k yesterday lfging lol. I like how you can help pretty well without being 75 too, even as a DD.

Skaw, I licked you a few times in pashlow but you ignored me. :c /cheer Bastok!

Oh, and by the way I'm glad to see that most of the -future- residents of bastok made the right choice and chose bastok again in the past. I'm proud of you guys.

Nest is nice, but you can't really ever leave if you want to campaign there. The NM is a bit powerful, with instacast Waterga III that hits for ~600, but the Reiters can own him pretty well on their own while you solo the Raiders. Kindred can still attack, which is awful when all but Shadowfang show up.

Campaigns usually occur there frequently, however. Most of my two weeks spent recruiting Choh was waiting for Campaign to be over to give her a chigoe. Only problem is there isn't a whole lot to do between them. Especially now that Choh's no longer there.

It'd be cool if once a week, or once a month they had a large scale assault on Jeuno. Where all 3 areas of Beastmen left their stronghold and marched through all the zones on their way to Jeuno. Kind of like the way besieged works before they get to Al Zhabi, no aggro but you can pull them and fight them one at a time.

I dunno why so many of you people act like the beastmen having territories is a bad thing. I fucking WISH they'd get more areas; we're doing way too good. I want those goddamn Campaign Ops that require beastmen to control places, and you all are trying your best to make sure it never happens. -.- I mean, I don't want the beastmen taking Saruta/Gusta/Ronfaure, but let them have the other areas sometimes at least. >.>

And personally, I don't care about the "gimped" points from fighting in another nation's areas. The points are still fine to me. I was doing Sandy areas a lot (as a Windurstian), but now I think I'll do Bastok exclusively, just to piss Skaw off. :P Besides, Quadavs don't have annoying AoE like Yagudos (Sweep) and Orcs (Battle Dance). You guys have the easy, convenient beastmen. Only Quadav worth worrying about ever is that fucker Ga'Dho Softstep with his AoE huge damage Ore Lob. >.> Even Bo'Dho Hundredfist with his Wrath of Gu'Dha isn't that bad, since it can be absorbed by shadows.

Quadav have random damage type immunity move. And all of the named ones(I've had Di'Dha do it to me) have Ore Lob. Just Ga'Dha and Gu'Dha have it worse, since you're getting it twice.

I'd take AoEs over that. I'd even take equipment removal and counterstance over that. It's a lot more annoying than you think it is. Gi'Ghi's Peiste have Calcifying Mist, that move sucks a lot. And Gi'Ghi himself can even cast Breakga.

late reply i know, i dont check the threads I post in as much as i should but...

remember Graueberg S! I remember a few weeks ago AG was doing this area exclusively, then of course we had the glitch were no mobs showed up with campaign music for about 2hrs, then it'd be just ol crimson armor and it'd be over.

I wont lie about jugner forest shadow issue, shadowhand is one evil hot bish;)

ninja edit: i dont mind those gimp points really, they all add up and it's much better than standing around doing nothing, the areas where i'm not part of often give more exp because more help is needed(pashow 2k exp) than areas like east ron, jugner, etc.

Random damage type immunity? You mean Diamond Shell? Because that just makes attacks to their back to 0 damage. If you move around to their front, your attacks work again. <.<; And yeah, other NMs have Ore Lob, but theirs isn't AoE, it's single-target. I've had Di'Dha hit me with Ore Lob, and no one else was hit but me. But when Gu'Dha uses it, I see a whole horde of people drop.

And yeah, I forgot about the guy with the Peistes. I don't usually do Pashhow Marshlands, which as far as I've seen is the only zone he attacks. The few times I've seen him he wasn't that annoying though; people slept his Peistes and NPCs and players gangraped him. I did get Breakga'ed once, but I happened to be in a PT with a WHM who Stona'ed me.

But with Yagudos and Orcs, *every single mob* can AoE you, not just certain NMs. And they of course spam them, because lots of people are fighting them, so they get tons of TP. And the Orcs and Yagudos have their own annoying NMs, too. Dee Xalmo the Grim likes to spam Doom (it's not even a TP move for him, he just spams it like a normal attack), and Kazen the Peerless does Shibaraku, which looks like Sweep, but seems to do way way more damage (I've taken 2k+ as WAR without zerk up). And all the Yagudo NMs have Dark Invocation, a single target high-damage dark-elemental attack that ignore shadows (Kazen the Peerless hit me with it for almost 3k damage, though other NMs it usually hits me for a more reasonable amount of damage, and is usually survivable). And for Orcs, there's Deathlord Rojgnoj with his randomly huge damage melee attacks (100-200 normally, then randomly sometimes over 1k without a crit), and Jagidbod's Warmachine with his high-damage AoE spam. I'll take Quadavs over those anyday. :P

Ore Lob isn't AoE in my experience, it's Conical. Which explains why Ga'Dho and Gu'Dho can manage to hit a lot more targets than the other NMs, since when Ga'Dho summons Gu'Dho, he's usually positioned differently, allowing for two different angled sweeps. I've been hit by one, but not the other fighting Ga'Dho. No'Mho is also fairly annoying. Chain casting whitemagic relentlessly, with Banishga III's and Holy that do some considerable damage if not resisted. His Holy can do upwards of 550.

Yea, No'Mho is a pain with his constant Banishgas and Diagas. North Gustaburg mobs seem to always spam Diaga and Poisonga also, which is really annoying.

I'd imagine No'Mho is considerably less annoying if you don't need shadows (lolDNCsub). But yeah, if you rely on shadows to stay alive, he's pretty damn annoying. <.<

I'll take your word on Ore Lob being cone. I could've sworn people behind me didn't get hit with it when Di'Dha did it to me, but maybe they just weren't behind me or something...
