Soooo Which?

I like Colette Annkoku Teel

my girl likes...

Colette Iori Teel

... she said as long as the 1st name is Colette the middle name is up to me... but I can't figure out which I like... :( of course I was leaning towards Annkoku... it means Dark Knight in japanese, and I'm just ... a Dark Knight 4life -_-;

sooooo lemme know what you guys and gals think

making you daughters middle name dark knight is kinda weird and when in doubt make the woman happy. Therefore i voted for Colette Iori Teel.

Well it's also a fairly popular name in Japan... so it's not just from the DRK stand point... but it is a girls name as well

nice choice on dark knight name!
i cant vote tho cause i hate the name colette with a passion >.> for many many a reasons from several people.

i got a lil creative on my daughters name to make it as pretty as possible.

Riley Raine

And my son has a cool name which was named after a comic book/story i wrote in high school based on a family of people that could turn into dragons.

Dreagan Alexandre (quite knightly!)

Annkoku makes me think of Ann "Cuckoo" Coulter. Ick

Name her "Colette Call"

Lol, that made me laugh. :)

I... really dont know what to tell you on your daughter's middle name ><, I'm sorry, I know I'm no help. Just not so good in the children department >.>

Middle names don't matter much so don't sweat it but...

Colette = Fat

...that's the first thing I think of when I here it, and with the middle name choices I hope the kid is japanese.

I'd hate to be called Dreagan, but it seems the damage is done in that case.

I dont know why but I prefer shorter names. The whole concept of having a long name that gets shortened in conversation always confused me. IE my first name is Christopher. Why? No one has EVER called me that.

well we just call him Dre for short but im sure he will like the name as much as everyone else.
No one gets to choose their name, hell half the people i know dont like their own name.
but my kids is unique and i know he'll like it. Because it fits him.
So no damage done.

I'd prefer to just not name my kids where they sound like nerdy anime characters... You want her to get picked on for life? I like anime and all but the names they come up with...ugh...

I'm not certain how you prounce any of those names. Poor teachers are going to butcher that taking attendence.

The 2nd one is nice, but I've always felt the middle name should be shorter than the first. I dunno why that is, but it just seems right that way.

I knew a Colette that was a smokin hottie back in high school, and that was the only one I ever met.

One thing to think of is how the name looks when the middle name is used as just an initial.

Colette A. Teel
Colette I. Teel
C. A. Teel
C. I. Teel
C. A. T. [Thats kinda interesting, didn't notice that initial set when I started typing.]
C. I. T.

lol dark night......I wouldnt name someone that >_>

Iori is normally, as far as I'm aware, pronounced Ee-ore-ee.

Oh and King of Fighters ftw.

It's hard to pick a name these days without some kind of reference in it. Colette makes me think of Tales of Symphonia...
