T.V. back in the day was much better than it is now. At least as far as Saturday/Sunday morning T.V.

The origonal Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was by far hundreds of times better than the crap they spew now.

And the one show I had forgotten that I remember:

Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad. Not as popular as power rangers, but an excellent alternative.

Does anyone remember this? Or did you have a prefered show when you were younger?

Fuck your samurai shit. Beetle Borgs is where it's at.

Ren and Stimpy, Rocco's Modern Life, Cow and Chicken, Courage the cowardly Dog.

Man Nickelodeon had some good cartoons.

I loved Rocco's Modern Life. And Doug.

While I agree the kid's shows were better back in the day, you can't say all newer shows suck. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is my favorite cartoon ever.

I remember the Samurai Squad, Beetle Borgs, and all the rest.
Additionally,
  • M.A.S.K.
  • Silverhawks
  • Before He-Man, there was Thundarr The Barbarian
ninja edit: I fully agree, I love me some Foster's Home.

you cant say He-man without mentioning She-ra

and you all phail. not one of you mentioned transformers, thundercats or G.I Joe!

and now the theme song from silverhawks is im my head.

Honestly, I loved the crap outta Thundercats when I was little, but watching it now I realize it was horrible. It is honestly the only show from when I was younger that I can't watch anymore.

Lion-o and Panthero were badasses, but the dialogue is so horrible it causes me physical pain.

I remember watching tatooed teenage alien fighters from beverly hills in the evenings. Was a power rangers rip off but was rather interesting. I was also a power rangers fanatic back in the day as well. Watch all the way up to the Zeo Rangers then I got out of it after that.

I also watched spiderman, xmen, ninja turtles, thundercats even though I don't remember much of it and a lot of looney tunes. I loved looney tunes back in the day. I still even like them now.

nickelodeon was good back in the day as well. I used to watch all their gameshows like legends of the hidden temple, Nick arcade, Double Dare, and Guts. I also watched other shows like, Its All That, Keenan and Kel, Clarissa explains it all (dunno why), Doug, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, and Ah! Real Monsters.

I loved TV back in the day. I don't watch much of it now though. I couldn't even tell whats on nickelodeon these days.

I watched mostly She-Ra, He-man, Thundercats, Transformers, Smurfs, Snorks, Loony Tunes, Popeye, Mickey Mouse, TMNT, Teddy Ruxpin (however it's spelled) and Ghostbusters. I'm sure that there are plenty that I forgot.

Awww, didnt anyone else ever watch Animaniacs? That was my favorite show for the longest time.

"Wheel of morality, turn turn turn, tell us the lesson that we should learn..."

I have the Animaniacs game for Super Nintendo, I loved it and I wish I could find it so I could play again!

Also
Samurai Pizza Cats.

lol

I still say "Hellllloooo Nurse." to my friends when hot chicks walk by.

I think T.V. is better now than it was back then. I mean, you practically had to wait until Saturday morning until you could get cartoons. Now you pretty much can have them 24-7 if that's what you want. Plus the storytelling has improved.

My own personal favorites were Robotech and Exo-Squad; the latter desperately needs a DVD release.

Good night, everybody!
