back in the day

Srsly. At least Voidwatch has given a limited reason for all jobs to be included.

I don't know what those words mean lol

Like most things, it's not important. Just that SE has artificially shoehorned job diversity onto the FFXI dynamic, and people still fight it tooth and nail. XD

oh man! all these pictures remind me of when life was simple :) i hope i see you guys in ffxiv 2.0

I'll post more pics tomorrow (some older ones). This one is just for rollie :

Who all still play this? what server are ya on?

Quit for a while, but I'm currently playing on Sylph.

Is anyone planning on returning and trying any of the new stuff out?

I remember alot of you guys. sup? Been a loooong time. lol

its been soo long... I remember alot of names in this thread..

I tried to return to FF11 after so many years.. did a couple of times but alot of my friends were gone :( It was also hard to get used to the controls, I still miss the game though..

I started a new FFXI account about two weeks ago. I'm playing as Euphacent on Asura server. The game is completely different now. I was able to solo 1 to 99 in about a week. Now I'm a fresh 99 with free ilvl 117 gear doing 5000-10000 damage Sharkbites to mobs in Escha-Ru'Aun and getting 11k exp per kill... talk about super easy merits. Literally a merit point per kill.

Sorry for the potato screenshot. Was texting the picture to someone originally.

Haha, I came back recently, too! Decided to reminisce by logging in during the free campaign, and now I've been back over a month!

(Also, this thread....damn. Just read the thing from the beginning. What a trip.)

Anyway, howdy to anyone that may see this, that doesn't follow the FB group.

Thought about it today when I got my FFXI email of newly rehashed content... but naah

I'm inexplicably still subbed to the game even though I log on once every couple of months at best.
