Well it's official, I no longer have a way to pay for FFXI. I am forced to quit the game probably this week or even later tonight. I was paying for the game using my friends moms CC and now am not open to that option anymore and also have hardly any cash to pay for the game now. Perhaps this is good for me since my marks have began to fall and I have played this game for almost a year. All my stuff with be sent to Jender since there isnt much there. I will stick around the forums and most of you can catch me on MSN or AIM if you wanna talk to me. Thank you for the great adventures and fun times guys. It took me a long time to come up with the decision to quit since I really dont have a choice anymore. I will miss you guys.

** Edit: I will leave my sig hosting service up for the community and probably try and score a job here so I can keep uin touch with you guys. **

Awww :( sorry to hear you are quiting, good luck with everything and I hope you get everything you want ^^..... glad you will still be around the forums :)
 
Do you have any relative(perferbly, parents, grandparents..) that have a credit card? You can easily pay for it each month, just need to go mow a couple lawns, or rake a couple leaves, or plow a couple driveways for people around your neighborhood, give that 13+ dollars to that relative, and they put it on the card for when the money is due. Gettin 13+ dollars a month is -not- that hard, but it does take some time to get it..

However, if you TRULY, ABSOLUTELY, have to quit...now that just sucks ; ;

Maybe, just maybe, you can be able to pay it before 3 months are up, and your character is deleted...

I'm terribly sorry to hear this...I didn't know you too well (as a matter of fact I don't know most people on QCDN that well.... :/).
I hope things work out well, maybe during that 3 months you will be able to pay for the game.

***OH! Before you quit, make sure you write down where you logged out, what you had equipped, how much gil you had, what lvl you were, etc. Because I was reading on Alakhazaam forums (I believe it was the thief job forum, but you may have to dig around since it is old) that there is a slight possibility that you can recover a deleted character.

Sorry to hear that =\ Good luck with your otherstuffs, though. And a word of advice, don't delete your character (I forget how long SE will keep it for before wiping it)--I've known several people who quit and then decided to or were able to come back, and were beating themselves over the head because they had to start all over again. ><

I am officially retired. I made my goal of lvl 45 thf tho at least and retired with just over 60 days of /playtime under my belt. I must admit that is pretty sexy considering I played all the jobs except Smn, Rdm, and Drk and got them all past lvl 10 :D

Daroth, a friend of mine in Canada is only paying 18 and some change CAD; do you have a bunch of mule accounts?

3 mules plus I played Tetramaster ALOT. but yeah I cant even afford that.
