The advice to find a ranger to duo with is great. I did that in Koroloka with a whm and never went to the dunes at all xp stay higher longer since they're are only 2 of you. My guess is you can easily hit 25 on the worms in qufim douing and do it quick.

Haha..... see some people just have no idea what they are doing.... i mean we have all been there but by lvl 20 you should have a good grip and a lot of your lessens should have been taught to you one way or another in Valkurm Dunes...... unless you bought character.....

Not always true, if you take a look nowadays especially in Valkurm dunes, you can barely find a party that does NOT have a PL. Because of this new trend, where new players are having their high lvl friends PL them, its hard for OTHER new, unexperienced players that happen to be in the party to learn their job.

This is why I always say, instead of getting irritated at the lack of ability someone has, first try to "teach them". If they are ignorant and don't listen to your advice, then yeah they're bad players and you can insult them as much as you want. But if you yourself who is already experienced don't make the effort to explain to them what they are doing wrong, then you're no better.

I hated being in low lvl parties and seeing people who have lvl 75 jobs insult and degrade new players because they didn't understand the roles of their jobs. The typical responses from the high lvl players would be "*sigh* VOKE!!! and then /disband". While there are times when people will just have bad days, if you are already experienced... instead of having little to no tolerance for the unexperienced, do them a favor and give some advice on how to correct their mistakes, and play better. Ultimately YOU will be the better player for having taken the time to help them out a little, and made their experience more enjoyable.

Is there a good place to solo around level 20-25? Not that I want to but if there are no parites I just dont feel like sitting around....

I soloed THF to 25 by killing EP yags in Giddeus and later EP gobs in buburimu. Good for farming wind/fire crystals and yag necklaces, but the exp is very slow. -_- And as a WHM it'll be even slower. But, I never soloed WHM much and it's been so long. There may be a way to solo it at a decent clip these days. Take an Empress Band out and see what kind of EP's you can kill quickly while farming. You'll make some gil and lvl at the same time.

I finally got level 20, and the Chocobo license mini quest finished, and I made my way FINALLY to Quifim. I had no clue that you had to know people in this game, have developed an association with so many different people in order to find a party available. I as of yet still need to find a pt, so if anyone in interested, {Please invite me.}
