:nono: This post is about a certain behavior that I have experienced, but was made acutely aware of today.

I was invited to party (RDM 53-54) with Zalbar in Kuftal Tunnel and later in Cape Terrigan. As I was playing, he kept shouting out for me to do this, and do that. I said "Please don't ask" about five times througout the party. When it came time to replace one of the party members, he unilaterally decided to kick me from the party, presumeably because 1) I wasn't playing the job as he wanted me to play it and 2) I wasn't taking his orders and was obviously annoyed by his behavior. :banghead3: Fortunately our WHM felt the same way as me and he left the part too.

I don't particularly miss the flameboard because I don't think people treated eachother with enough respect there. So I wont flame this guy, but I would like to say that:
:rtfm:
1. People don't like to be micomanaged
2. Melees shouldn't advise Mages and vice versa unless there is an obvious problem.
3. Party leader doesn't mean commander in cheif, we're all here to have fun, so don't give orders.

So if you find yourself complaining about not getting buffs or somone not doing something, please realise that they're probably not not casting the spell just to ruin the party or because they're incompetant. Give everyone the credit and repect that they deserve and don't treat someone like shit just because they aren't living up to your expectations. The party isn't there to serve you; you are just one part of the group.

Thank you, :nono:
