>.> Team from Siren won the NA match, adn then played against the JP winners, also from Siren, which is pretty insane, what are the odds...

Got owned 44-0, JP win. /sigh

DRK and MNK fucking owned hardcore. NA match was more fun to watch...that final was just a hardcore rape.

I'd love to watch those vids. Any link?

*oh wait, I've just been informed, the FBI came into the fanfestival and took all the videotapes of the US-JP ballista.

A little Siren on Siren action. What could be better?

(I wonder if their NINs had Sairens.)

Meh, too late to come up with anything witty.

Way to represent NA!

44-0...That's just pathetic.
At least they felt good about themselves for a moment there.

Just a quick summary from what I remember... The JP team used a WHM as tank (full defense gear), with a BRD singing double Minne. For whatever reason, it didn't occur to the NA team that the WHM wasn't going down after 15 minutes of him never dying, and they got picked off in short order.

That's exactly what happend. The crowd even started yelling to get off the WHM and they didn't. I mean, it's not rocket science, he was popping Hi potions like they were going our of style. They, NA team, should've took out their MNK. He was their highest DD and wasn't equiped w/ an earth staff.

...still find it amusing that the one developer said it's interesting seeing the different playing styles between NA and JP. NA = offense, offense, offense. JP = offense, defense, defense. The JP team never gave the NA a chance for gatebreach.
