i think i signed up for 6 Ballista events this week-end only to have them cancelled due to not enough players joining.

i've never participated on one and now i'm really disappointed with my first (NON)experience at Ballista.

so, all i wanna know is: who wants to fight me? c'mon i know there must be someone out there that hates the elietest mightier than thou attitude shared by elvaans*

i can participate in Ballista levels 30, 40, and 60 very soon. (no gear for 50 :oops: )

anyone interested? we could make this an QCDN event!

if you do these in the mornings you'll find plenty of people. the other day I saw a 60 ballista with 50 ppl in the morning o.O
 
Go to the 60 or uncapped ballista. Those are where the action is usually... although I've come to give 60 cap the nickname of "Sidewinder Wars". :[ you've been warend.
 
best times to do them is Saturday nights. I did Jugner and Pash lvl 50 caps. Only bad thing is that they are mostly JP and gang up on you ; ; no real 1v1.
 
i kinda want to be able to talk smack at whomever i'm beating down at the moment, or whomever is beating me down (doesn't really matter).
 
I've been with a all JP ballista 60cap and we 1v1'd the whole time, it was a lot of fun.

I've learned to live with the Sidewinder Spam Svina, Since i have it too. But it gets ridiculous. They're usually Samurai and equip friggin Earth Staves and god dammit....I'll get them one of these days... :(
 
Ask for a 1v1, If accepted you will get it....
 
if there are level 30, 40 or 60s going on tonight i'll be there.

I've never done this before and I really want something new and fun to try, but I'm kind of scared being a whm with underleveled weapon and overall not attack for that matter. Am I basically a free target or can I actually do things other than cure and run away in fear? :cry:
 
i finally got to do a Ballista last night. (level 60 even though i'm still 59)

oh man it was AWSOME.

i remember seeing Chpal, Tymon, and Tyrath

i saw Chpal knock someone out with a well placed spell, i think i'm the one who took out Tymon's last sliver of HP with my weapon skill, and Tyrath knocked himself out while using soul-eater on me. LOL

most fun i've ever had getting killed.!!!

you can bet i'm gonna be a regular from now on.
 
I saw the fighting while I was on my way to Castle Oztroja. I was amused. It was the third Ballista match I've run into over the last couple of days, so I'm getting more and more interested in it.
 
Ok, I have always wanted to participate also, but I never knew where to find the darn NPC so I can get a license. Anyone know where I can find one? Oh yeah, I am from Windy if that means anything, and is there a good link with good info on Ballista? Appreciate any feedback, thanks.
 
The one in Windy is in Heaven's Tower. You go into that little office with the three (I think there are three) tarus together - where you get a world pass and access to the stairs that let you go higher in the place. Standing in that room with them, next to the door you entered through, is a mithra. Speak with her.

you start by talking to your nations conflict director, he will send you to the other nation's conflict directors.

one thing to remember:

you first talk to the conflict director, then the nation's leader, and then to the conflict director AGAIN.

i had to go to every nation twice because i didn't get the "letter from conflict director whatshismane" key item after going to the other 2 nations.

also even if you get teles and grab chocos or take airship , after the running around and the cutscenes this quest still takes over an hour, so you can't get the license "real quick" before a match starts.
