hahah i got banned, well my xbox did. no more live for my box. pretty shitty.
i said it time and time again, halo 3 would be the nail.
 
wonder how its gonna fair for the other thousands of people who got banned, i cant research it cause so much traffic at every website they are all crashing the servers.
 
and we were just having fun chas;;
 
lol This kid who was raping me in Call of Duty 2 was playing all day two days ago and hasn't been on since. I would bet money he was modding the way he raped me. x.x
 
I'd buy someone's banned x-box if they wanna sell. I have no interest in paying $50 a year for live anyway when I can get PSN for free, but I wouldn't mind a cheap console to play some of the exclusives offline.

What's the lawls about? My only issue is not being able to play Xbox exclusives online.

1) Online play is a small portion of my total playtime except for MMORPGs... which I'm not going to get into again and FFXI can be played on PS3.
2) The 360 exclusives that interest me most are offline or it's their offline components that interest me.
 
Xbox live accounts were not banned, its the xbox itself that was banned. Kind on M$ part to not ban the account, they want you to go buy a new console.

Also lots of people still not banned, I myself still not banned. They just fail at detecting the firmware on all consoles but they will eventually find a way to start detecting all drivers and firmware.
 
yeah i had an hitatchi 47DJ model drive, and mostly all hitatchi users have been banned.
Ironically, the new FW that just came out claiming to have inside info MS was gonna block burnt games from being played is being rumored to have been planted my MS themselves to make it easier to detect. they must have got to the two hackers who created them. theres been no word from those two guys since the ban.
Honestly, i wouldnt have minded if they banned my live account ya know. sure i lose ALL my achievements, but my system is still worth buying another new account an unmodding for.
They could have even made the ban state it remain banned until the original firmware is restored, i would have restored to original right away.
but no, they ban the whole box and expect you to buy a new one, which just isnt gonna happen.

they also fucked up some more, cause people will just do what im doing. I have 2 360's here, one is my friends who just moved in with me, we just put my HD in his box and play off my account there, if i wanna play a burnt game, i throw it in my xbox unlock some achievements, put it back in my friends box and update my score. The only thing i lose is online play, which games i wouldnt have purchased anyway wouldnt matter to me anyhow, if i wanna play a game online ive always paid for it.
this whole thing is a bungle on their part, but im still playin halo 3 beta on my account and i just dont really care.

they cant ban accounts anyway if you think about it.
all the money you put into buying arcade games and MS points are tied to you account with no refunds, they would be stealing if they banned your account with items you paid for on it.
tho its kinda hypocritic since they stole what made my xbox worth it...
 
yeah i guess, most people are dumb and assume that hacking the firmware is modding/cheating at a game.
ive read mostly comments like, goodbye cheaters! and wish they would do this for socom...
people dont understand that all it did was enable us to play burned games...not cheat and glitch at games. theres no way to break the signed code yet to even attempt that, so most people who talk smack about the ban have no idea what it was about lol.
modders are the cheaters in xbox world.
this was just a hack.

nope, they didnt win. The games i have burned are games i would never pay money to play, such games as sonic 360 which NO ONE should ever have to pay money for that POS. so they would never get money from me either way for those games, the games i want i own the actual originals of. Im protective of my games tho, so ive made back ups of my originals to play so they original wont get scratched. i already cant play waterworks on halo 2 because my original is scratched on that spot. so in the end, i play back ups of the games ive already paid for too.
they profit nothing either way. actually they lose profits because i paid for alot of arcade games and live, and many expansions and add ons to other games. which i have no reason to pay for if my console is banned.
plus, they are not smart. they did not fuck me in the ass at all.
a simple check would show im BACK on live, still playing, and with burnt games. I wont be releasing how to do this online so it doesnt spread and give them something to look for and fix so i have to make a new way, but they should really find more solid ways to ban people if they are gonna XD
im sure the community will release this info soon and everyone will be UNBANNING themselves just like they did on xbox 1.
but until then, only an elite few know how and all those kids who need other people to do things for them, wont know for quite some time.
so...MS 1, Hackers 2.

edit: to show i am playing burnt games, check my gamertag XI Comatose IX and look at a game i have on there, The new pirates of a Caribbean game that isnt even out yet. i unlocked one achievement in it as a test earlier while working my way around this.

well you can buff your cds out if they dont work..iv saved tons of money by owning a cd buffer..
and i wasnt really being all that serious. i just wanted to bust your balls lol
