no thats not it, it lets you make like custom icons and stuff

Custom icons? The only thing I can think of is the custom icons for when you actually have bard songs on you, it changes the colors so you can actually tell what songs are on you just by a glance. Instead of all song effects being light purple, minuet will be red, ballad green, etc.

I was wondering where to get that UI pack from... now I dont have to waste time selecting my songs to figure out if i sould be on my melee phase or my mage phase.

thats pretty much it, i was trying to find an exp watch and came across someone talking about it

this is the person talking about what he has and he mentions bard song:

I also have "Bard Song". A Plug-In that changes almost all of the status icons that appear at the top of your screen into their own custom icons. So no longer does Utsusemi look like a bar spell. Instead, it's a person with blue shadows. Sharpshot is an arrow with a glowing green tip, and Barrage is a bunch of arrows stacked together. Those are just 3 examples. Finally, I have a program called "FF Assist" which does (basically) 2 major things: It displays a map On-Screen so you don't have to use the /map command to access it, AND it displays your recast timers for all your current spells and abilities. So no more /recast macros. See below for more pics on those.

Notice the icon in the top left of this picture. THAT is my utsusemi icon, rather than the standard gray circle with a red arrow through it.

FF Assist also seems pretty cool

FFAssist is too technical for me to want to use. You have to download it from the JP website, some configuration...bleh.
The icon in the screenshot of utsusemi is the same one as brandson's GUI reskin. I just put it in after Calais posted it. The icons are pretty useful.
