Bare minimum levels for expansion

I don't think everyone is talking about me, unlike you, I'm not that full of myself. I just feel that others have no right to tell people how to play. If a level 30 WAR wants to do beseiged none of us have the right to tell them that they are not allowed. Simple as that.

Get over yourself already, no one cares. When level 30 people who do don't contribute at all to besieged, they need to get out and let the people who would actually be of some use to get in. I don't want to lose the astral candescence, so I don't want useless people there wasting space. If you don't care, then keep your nose out of the thread.

So if a level 30 wanted to party against level 75 exp mobs, or do a KS30/99, you'd have no right to tell them no. That right?

We aren't telling them they aren't allowed. We are telling them they are more of a burden than anything else. Read the words on the screen. Noone said they aren't allowed. We said they are leeching a piddly amount of IS and XP and the only excuse that has been iven was "I pay my 13 dollars, I'm allowed." That is no kind of excuse.

There is 700 slots in Beseiged right. If you need that many levels 75s to keep it you suck.

You forget to adjust for all the lvl 30s that insist on wasting a space and all the afk people as well.

Theres 6 slots in a party, if you need that many to kill some VTs, you suck.

It's not that we don't need them to win. But 700 75's would get the job done more efficiently than 500 75's and 200 level 30's.

Until you start taking level 30's to exp with your WHM, just shut up. Practice what you preach.

This isn't EXP parties though. It's a massive attack that I look at as fun. Maybe you just don't know how to do that in this game though. You know relax and have some fun.

Besieged is fun, but it's not fun that idiots try to leech on level 1-50 jobs.

Sorry, but if it's fun for one person to impede on other peoples fun, you're in the wrong. The same reason the "It's my $12.95!" arguement doesn't fly. It's not like EXP is serious business either, so how about you relax and take a level 30 with you?

Oh, I'm sorry that you feel so hurt by it Bajaratt. I'm sure you can't even sleep at night because your level 75 job had to auto-attack right next to Joe Blow level 30 WAR.

Baj actually does besieged more on WHM than MNK. Meleeing mages in Besiege is about as useful as Meleeing mages in EXP as well, he knows this.

If you're gonna bitch about going to besieged as the most efficient for victory, you best start leveling that gimp sub of yours skaw...i don't care what your counter is, you're gonna be an mp sink on these mobs. Its a game, besieged gives you the opportunity to experiment and try new things.
We're not gonna lose because a couple of lvl 30 players wanna try out besieged, shit a lvl 25 whm can come as long as he can cast raise.

And your shitty attitude and play style that everyones adopted is going to get Ninja nerfed as a subjob(Man, will I laugh my ass off when that day comes.) Theres a fucking support job system in play for a reason, and I do /whm with Refresh Sanction bonus damn well. So yeah, take your shitty, off-topic attitude out of here, asshole. Then again, with that stick so far up your ass to where you're looking at the sky, theres no wonder you and every other retarded /nin onry player can't see other viable options/gear thats around. I can selfsustain myself in Besieged(as well as EXP, as much as your sore pussy wants to believe otherwise) without hiding behind Ninja as a subjob like the rest of the playerbase, since I've actually experimented with what's available, instead of using the only method people claim to work. And aside from saving my own skin, can help others in the process.

Being able to raise myself is a lot less MP sponging than using /NIN and begging the closest WHM to pick me up when nailed by Mijin Gakure, too many Thundaga/Blizzaga III's, Perdition, or Self-Destruct. Not to mention not needing to cry like a worthless little child when War Wyverns use Dread Shriek about being Paralyzed, or getting Blinded by Black Cloud(Even though I just save MP and use my own Eye Drops most of the time.) Yeah, whose the one being an MP Sponge now?

Then why do you not try /nin, refuse to lvl NIN for a viable subjob when it has a HUGE pluside. My whole ranting about mp-sponging started off with MNK's refusing to go anything except /war to exp parties. Thus not weighing all viable options. I believe /nin is a viable option yes, but why are you so anti-nin when you haven't EVER tried it.

i don't have a stick up my ass, just don't go parading like you're an elitest at besieged when you DON'T have all viable options to work with.

Hi-reraiser = reraise
eyedrops you carry anyway
You've never partied with me, so don't assume i bitch about status defects...

I thought this thread had died, o'well. So you can do besieged without any added help from anyone else Skaw, that's great. Really, it is. Not everyone can say that same, though. I think you miss the point that there is no reason why these guys should not be allowed to experience besieged. It's a game. I repeat, it's a game. I'm sure that you most likely feel that players should start the game at 75 so they won't leech from you, but its not the case.

I suppose if you find enjoyment on trying to minimize other player's enjoyment than so be it, who am I to stop you. Your thought process is the problem-- not these players who want to have fun. This game's a team effort-- don't ever forget that. As for the KS example... um.. KS manaburns?

As far as exping with a level 30? CoP Capped zones. Been there, done that.

As far as the example of the "fun" of taking mobs like those of Valkrum Dunes so that a party cannot exp off of them.. eh, thats some what what most of you are trying to do to these "lowbies" who are too below you to play.

Will you lose sleep if the Astral Candescence is lost? Will it ruin your gaming experience that much that you couldn't just try to find fun in getting it back?

Trust me.. over half of the players who do besieged do it because they find entertainment in it, and don't care as much as you do if it is lost.

Why? You can just as easily have fun getting it back.

Actually, I think you missed the point, Sandria. What I said wasn't even related to level 30s in besieged, so way to bring it up when it's not the point of the thread, but a counter to Jamal's post about subjobs(which again, not the point of the thread.)

I asked why not take level 30's to a level 75 party, not exp as a 75 in promyvions. Or take them to the KS30/99's. If they find it fun, why not take them? Because they'd get in the way. Much like they get in the way with Besieged.

If Dynamis had no minimum level requirement, would you take a level 30 if there was room in the run? Seriously, ask yourself this instead of posting worthless crap thats not on topic.

And those same level 30s, would you see them trying to get the candesence back? No, you wouldn't, because theres no easy benefit to leech from that.

So wait, let me get this straight. You've never seen me actually play, so that gives you the right to piss and moan about me lacking a subjob that offers me no real benefit(here's a hint: HNMs, monks chi blast, out of AE range. EXP can be gained without hiding behind it too, as well as soloing.) But I can't assume that you cry about getting enfeebled or die because I've never partied with you? Way to be backwards there.

Thing is, I don't need to experience ninja as a subjob, because it's everywhere around me. From idiots claiming it to be the only support job in the god damn game, to easy-streeters who want to get through missions without a little challenge.

I do admit Ninja is useful. Just not for Monk. Dual Wield is the main appeal to DD jobs, not so much Utsusemi since theres still a designated tank in Parties. But wait, what's that.. Dual Wield is worthless for Monks. In standard parties/most merits, My Chakras and Guard skill will provide me with all the negation to "MP Sponging" if White Mages weren't so retarded and realized they don't need to curebomb Monks if we lose 400HP. Those white mages are the real gimps in the parties.

Having a Ridill doesn't make you the be-all end-all source of knowledge for a job you don't even play.

More than just entertainment really

Actually, while I may not lose sleep if the AC is lost, I as well as a lot of others would be extremely ticked off. Those cumulative bonuses would all be lost the moment the AC leaves Al'Zahbi. The EXP, refresh, regen and food duration bonuses all gone (or at least reset to their initial levels)

If you do any exp/limit parties in the new TAU areas at all, you know that Besieged is more than just "entertainment." It's a matter of keeping those partying convienences intact.

We're just trying to improve our lot through prevention rather than sacrifice. Sure we can always get the AC back, but it would take another few months of successful Besieged battles to get the bonuses back to current levels.

I personally think that if you can't viably exp in the new TAU areas, you shouldn't be taking part in Besieged. The rewards for someone who can't take advantage of the AC Sanction bonuses just aren't worth the trouble of the battle.

Also, I mentioned earlier:

When the Astral Candescene is lost and Shihu-Danhu(sp?) starts warping people to the Jugner Forest side of Battallia, the little shack near Pashow Marshlands in Rolanberry, the rock near Meriphataud in Sauromugue, and near Behemoth's Dominion in Qufim........I think you'll regret bringing your 46NIN or whatever low lvl job you have into Besieged.

Sure besieged is fun, but maybe you'll realize how illogical it actually is to bring a low level job - when it takes an extra 5 minutes travelling to Jeuno.
