the greatest closer of all time goes in a small funk against one team, and we need to replace him? the law of averages my friend... you can get to him now.. but can you get to him in october? i think not

Well, here's some stats for ya:

4 Blown saves in a row against the Sox, including Game 4 of the ALCS(Which, correct me if I'm Wrong, was in October)

6 Blow saves for the last 11 opertunities against the Sox

why don't you look up the stats from all the games before the last 11? the law of averages catches up to everyone, like i said let him get it out of the way now, and we'll see what happens this october

And considering it was the first two times he's pitched, I'm not too concerned. Just let him get back to his thing.

First 2 of this season, and last 2 of last season

Nah, I know about last season. I'm just saying this season has just started. No one is 100%

i think way too much of this rivera thing is being made... everyone slumps... hell jeter was batting .189 last may 31st... he ended up nearly .300 last year, if you know anything about baseball, you know he had to have a ridiculous 4 months in order to drive that back up, everyone slumps, but the great ones will succeed in the end, and as this season is only 3-4 games old we'll see who's on top in the end
