This goes more for the Navy, Marines and Coast Gaurd than the others but... if you join any of these, know how to fucking swim...

Chair Force PT isn't what you jarheads claim it to be... there came a point during recognition (kinda like your crucible) where I couldn't even stop my body from hitting the pavement after an uncountable number of up-downs.

*shudder* the cs chamber.... i hate the people that are immune... but yeah, if you go in with a cold or allergies or a stuffy nose take a sniff and i promise your sinuses will be clear. good luck have fun.

Get used to the gas. With the new training program, you have to go through the chamber every time you get a refresher, and not just the first time.

Yeah, it sucks. Hope that the chamber is broken on the day you go.
 
seriously? there making everyone go throug hit once a year now? o m f g im excited to drool snot all over my BDUS and throw up :)... not lol
 
I think annual certifications are a cross-branch requirment, we do them in the Army too.
 
The key is to squint really hard when they make you take off your mask. If you can keep the gas mostly out of your eyes, you're golden.
 
Celv, when i got out of the chamber ic ouldnt fuckin open my eyes bro it was like they were glued shut lol :( but yeah it was fun still
 
The only thing that helped me through that whole thing (aside from pepper spray fights with my friends as a kid..) was burping when the gas hit, it unclogged my throat and I could breathe normally with only a bit of scratchy feeling from the gas itself.
