1. Zone into Bastok Markets from North Gusta for CS

2. Talk to Galka NPC outside Metalworks

3. Examine Monument at top of Zegram hill

4.Head to Grauberg. The ??? inside the cave @ (I-6) completes the quest. It is the same one you found Galkas (Werei and Gumbah?) with weapon caches earlier in the questline. You get icarus wing for your trouble.

Second Quest
1.For the second quest, zone into Bastok from North Gustaburg again and you'll get a Silvermine key (key item).

2.It's the hut north of the Outpost. On the west side of the huge rock in the middle of lower North Gusta.

3.Well it's an escort quest. some sort of aoe sleep is needed because you get ganked by 6 quadavs that go after the escort directly Talk to Solitary Ant right outside the gate to Bastok in Gustaburg and you'll get your key item back if you fail.

4.First wave, 6 quadavs, sleep and kill one by one. I noticed that they change target to the escortee quite often (1 min interval?). She'll move after you kill the last one, so you might want to delay killing it a bit to heal her up.
Next wave, 3 quadavs, same deal.
Then the third wave, 9 quadavs with the escortee running around
4th wave 4 quadav

tried again with blm/rdm/drk. got to siege weapon and quads just started pouring out. we got over whelmed and lot.

Was beaten by a MNK/NIN, RDM/BLM, WHM/SCH. Also beaten by a DRG/SAM and a whm and blm.

5.After you complete that part, zone into Bastok Markets again from North gusta to see another CS. After that, talk to the Metal Works guard once, then again for another cutscene and a prize.

6.Also, after the second cutscene with Gentle Tiger, speak to him again to get a title.

Finally managed to beat this bc yesterday night, setup was BLM/WHM X2, and a RDM/WHM to keep the npc alive, we cleared the bc with manaburn style.

Since a -gaIII can take roughly 70% hp of the mobs, so we finish the first few waves in this way:

1) Both BLM sleepga all the mobs as soon as they pop, and also wait a bit and sleep the mobs that pops later in third or fourth waves.

2) One of the BLMs casts Thunderga III in the largest casting range, another one starts casting SleepgaII in about 4 secs (blm/whm, no fast casting) later, sleep the mobs right after they get hit since they will all go directly to the first BLM.

3) BLM who casted a -ga III rest mp to full, another BLM kill the mobs with second gaIII and move on.

4) Sometimes the BLMs aren't able to collect all the mobs in a bunch and few of them ran to npc. So the rdm sleep the single ones while BLMs finish the others with -ga III. Again BLMs rest to full, then kill the single ones with time nuke. Two III spells should kill one without problem. We were at the 10 mins mark when we almost finished the 4th wave.

5) For the last waves, have a BLM staying around turret to sleep the mobs (especially the BLMs quads) poping after first wave. When all the quads were asleep the BLMs standing side by side and time a -gaIIIs nuke on one of the bunches outside tunnel. Time another -gaIII nuke on the rest of the quads around turret and we were done. 5 mins left when we cleared the bc.

So my conclusion is 2 BLMs with 4 AOE sleep spells totally HELPS a lot :P It's also recommended RDM to keep blms hasted for shorter recast time.

When you see the mobs coming start casting in the largest range, don't bother with elemental seal before sleepgaII, the npc is really really fargile and you don't want to let her getting any hit (need a cure III for every two hits she got), we don't have the issue of mobs waking up too soon without seal.

Tried duoing this with a war/nin, didn't get past the 3rd mob. 6/9 slept with sleepga, but they all came from every corner so I had to wait for them to gather together to sleep, but the girl died to quick.

The third and fourth rounds features two waves each. The last round has three waves, including a team of BLMs who will nuke the NPC down if left unslept and unsilenced.

I did most of that update's quests in a trio, including the final Sandy fight, but did the Windurst battle with four and eventually won this Bastok fight with a team of six, including two JP BLMs we just happened to run across at the battle's entrance after a loss. Our melees (WAR, MNK, BLU) were the ones who killed everything, but our overkill sleep team (with the BLMs and me on RDM/BLM) were the key.

While it's probably not impossible to manage the fight with just one sleeper (BLM), I'd recommend taking at least two. The mobs are weak, but the NPC is frail and the swarm can take her down in seconds if left unchecked.
