Multi-Plat Batman 2 Announced at VGAs.

We'll see how this goes. Personally, I enjoyed AA, but I feel a sequel was announced too soon.
 
I will be looking forward to this. Though I hope they don't use Arkham as the game's map again. That would be stupidly redundant. I can understand maybe a very small portion of the game being in Arkham, but the rest of the game should explore Gotham or at least some other portion of Gotham.

I read some people weren't thrilled to see the Joker being fed an IV. But think about it. If the game is continuing from the first.. well.. The Joker got really f-ed up. He's not in good shape, and would be in need of recovery. The fact that he managed to escape again after all that happened in that game is plenty impressive enough.

I don't see him being a major baddy in the new game, but like always, a mastermind of chaos never-the-less. He could be a vital character in creating trouble for Batman (as he usually is anyway, which would create the story for the game), I just don't see him being a threat like he was in the first game.

Did anyone catch the bit on Gametrailers about the secret room in the Warden's office in the first game that had concept art for this one? I played this game nonstop after I got it, and thought I'd found everything (only missed 100% because I didn't feel like playing the challenges repeatedly), but had no idea about that room. I still wanna check it out because it has a map of what the layout may be for the city.

From what I read before, theres a new prison system inside the city itself.

oh jeeze does the GCPD ever learn? lock up prisoners that are experts at escaping away from the general public, not in their neighborhoods. lol
 
If the GCPD were useful there wouldn't be any need for Batman, amirite?
 
Isn't that what he ultimately wants though? he only does what he does because no one else can.
 
And that's why we still have Batman. Or if you look at the Batman Beyond timeline, he does the Batman thing until he's just physically unable so.. what does that tell you? Nothing really changes.

Yes, but that's pretty much the one time he's made an exception to use a gun. Even if it didn't work, it was definitely a notable scene.
