Battle for the Noob zones

hmm just wondering is all this battle for ronfaure, gustaberg, sarutabaruta going on because windy lost control of sarutabaruta to bastok a while back and now eveyone wants eveyone's noobs zones?
 
Call it fun and rivalry all you want, but it's extremely helpful to control some other city's noob zone at least once. I keep my homepoint in my hometown, and having an outpost teleport to another city is very huge.
 
I say next week sandy and bastok have an agreement and give each other their newb zone. So we can both outpost tele :)

Who would want Gustaberg? You're still a zone and a half away from the city. It's not as nice as being only a minute or two from Sandy or Windy. I do want Ronfaure though. :P
 
If I remember correctly, wasn't it Bastok who took the first low-level zone (in recent history), or was it the first to be made a huge marker on everyone's calender? At any rate, that's the first one I remember. I think it's fun as rivalry. I know though, now that such things are happening, I finnally decided to get my own Out Post warps done! ^^ I almost have the entire map done, thanks to the efforst of my fellow Windurst kin.
 
Yes it was bastok but the majority of ppl just flammed it because bastok was 3rd in conquest for about 6 times in a row, it was a huge hit to bastokans (because we were in 3rd to many god damn times) but noone noticed BECAUSE we were 3rd
can ya dig it? 8)

We were first to conquer a newb zone, at least in recent memory, and we did it while maintaining last place. Beat that Sandy.
 
It's too costly to keep up the battles...

To clarify my comeback: Miros lives in the next town away from me in CT, and we have yet to meet, so we bug eachother about going to a mutually loved pizza place to hang out some time, but we both seem to have too much else to do.
