Battlestar Galactica - The Final Season

Just finished watching season three last night, holy hell the last couple episodes are a mindfuck.
 
Looks like it's starting to get good!

me too. Season is finally getting good. The first few eps were a bit boring imo.
 
screw them with their 2 week delay wtf!? Just when it's getting good too!
 
I surely didn't expect what happened in that last episode. I mean the developement of #6 and Tigh??? It's clear the only Cylons that can reproduce are the male of the secret 5 because if the rest of them find out it would mean sex scenes on every Cylon Mothership untill the series ends.
 
Anybody else watch the June 13th episode and go "What the fuck?" Then see the "Coming soon" bit, realize it was going to be awhile before we see what happens, and go "WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!"

Not really. It wouldn't have fit in with the show at all if they showed up to earth and it was all sun shine and cake and happiness.

It was more like "you guys f'n suck!" for me because I kinda knew they (the network) were up to something via IGN. I thought the mid season finale was great for many reasons, plus it kinda made me forget about the question on who the last *ahem* is.
 
I never lost that question. I was like "Ok they know 4 of the 5. Why isn't anyone looking for the fifth." I am still saying Felix.

Felix ey? I guess it would be cool that those missing body parts would be cylons since it would probably make it easier to restore said parts. :spiteful:

I'll go with the obvious choice and pick Starbuck this time around.

If the final Cylon is revealed to be Felix, I'll go WTF??? and do a backflip in the livingroom! lol
 
I'm still going with the President.
 
All of the revealed final 5 have been secondary characters, that have done some important things or are in positions of great responsibility (head of resistance back on old Caprica, Aide to the President, 2nd in command of the military, head of flight deck maintenance crew), all serve as a source of drama for the main characters. Felix most important role was on New Caprica feeding information to the Resistance. He is lacking on the drama side but I can't figure out why they keep him around (in the background and involved in the story). So he stands out as a possible candidate. If it isn't Felix I can see it being Dualla.

I would love it if turned out Callie was the 5th and she was killed by another of the final 5, Tory.

I originally thought it was the pres, that 'joke' killed it for me, but now I'm not so sure. Coulda been a game and I think it makes more sense. Other possibility is still Balter. D'anna kind of seemed really pleased and surprised that he was on the basestar with them.
 
I don't think it could be Baltar, Roslin, or Bill Adama, since Diana already had all of them on the base star before she demanded they join her, so there'd be no reason for demanding they join her when she's already got them on the base star.

I think it's Lee Adama.
 
A while back I started to think Lee but I just can't see how they could make it so. Was Adamas boy the recipient of the old bait and switch? The only way that would be possible is if the final 5 were the first 5 successful human/cylon babies. I remember during the flashback covering Zak (brother of Lee) the mother was shown but she was behind a veil, her identity hidden. The only problem with that would be the old man would recognize one of the skin jobs as his ex wife. Well that and Zak would have been a hybrid as well.

I could go with the ex-Mrs Lee Adama. Cylon Chicks are hot and she is the last hot chick that hasn't turned out to be a cylon (yet)
 
Thread necro, now that the final episodes have started up again. Anyone still watching, or have they forgotten about the show while it was on another hiatus? Heh.

Saw this thing from Dirk Benedict this morning and thought I'd post it. He's whining because about the new version. He hates the moral ambiguity and is deeply offended that Starbuck is a woman. Shouldn't he have gotten over this years ago? I'll take the new version over his Star Wars rip-off cheesefest any day of the week.
