Do people really buy those things? I see them in batallia for some outragous amounts. Heck, You would think it the real deal. Also how do you even know what the prize could be? Seem like a waste to try to bazaar them.

Pretty much. The only time it's worth it is if it's friends who can pretty much assure you it's from a specific assault, and even then I'd not pay all that much for any of the ??? items, considering their rock-bottom chance at being useful. Maybe Divisor Ring or Ataractic Solea, but meh.
 
Someone had 5 ??? Gloves for 5k once, I forgot the name. I felt like gambling so I brought all 5.

Of course, all shite, I was hoping for some unique items but it was worth a shot.
 
I got me and 5 of my friends Barbarossa's Moufles from a bazaar :D

He's (I'm sure of it) joking. You'll probably have more chance winning one of the lower spectrum of the prizes in a lottery than to get 6 of those gloves. :spiteful:

I remember when one of daikon's mules used to sell them for 100k a pop.
 
Hell, my assault static has been going 6-7 runs a week since August I think, and out of all of those ??? items we've gotten, not a single one has appraised into anything nice. (Unless you count brass mittens +1 or spark spears as nice....)

Yep, we've had the worst luck ever when it comes to those stupid ??? items. Pretty sure we could supply half the server with Spark Spears if we'd of kept them all..lol.
 
My static has h ad decent luck when it comes to ??? items.

daikon damn i have'nt seen him in ages is he stll around? with his 322 mules lol
they use to take over fountain in lower jueno but his stuff was pricey so i never bought

I've seen his main doing Besieged as recently as three months ago, but his mules have been gone for quite some time now.
 
My static has gotten some dagger that gives +5% critical in besieged, plus some 1hMP/1.ratt earring. Both of which obviously laughable...we have, however, gotten a Tau Ring (5dex and some salvage effect) which is quite nice but yeah, the rate of getting an actually good item is rock-bottom.

I wanna know how so many assault groups are letting people just run off with the ??? and not appraising it on the spot.
The only person who ever did that i've blisted because she grabs the armband and says "I have armband already so i'm stuck as leader" and enters before anyone can say BULLSHIT. She then goes off and disbands before the appraisal and claims it was a crappy drop when everyone screams for her to get back and appraise.
