BC fights - can the orbholder leave?

Title pretty much says it. We want to do a KS30, but the guy popping the orb does has a less than optimal main job. Can he pop the orb, start the fight, have everyone enter, then leave so we can party-swap in someone else and have them do the fight with us?
 
Yeah I think you can, I remember doing it for PCC BCNM a while ago. Not 100% sure though so I'd wait for confirmation.

I don't think you can have someone else enter the arena after everyone's in *IF They aren't in the pt to begin with*.
SE Would have thought of that, i believe. Well, maybe not, but meh...

On the other hand, i believe you can leave the arena being the orb holder, i think i've done it once before, but don't quote me on it.

Find out and let us know =P

Oh that might be why we were able to do it, 3-person fight so all 4 people in the party got the icon =x

Actually, come to think of it, when you do a BCNM and you do it in record time, the next time someone does the same one it'll say "Record time is 32 seconds by a group of people who include *ORB HOLDER'S NAME*"

So maybe you can't have the orbholder leave afterall... But then again, maybe you can...

I like playing both sides eh? =.=

I'm certain orb holder gets credit ^^

As much as i love disagreeing wif ya, i'm right on this one =P
I Just did a few KS runs the other day and the "Recrd includes an adventurer called *Orbholder*" popped up a few times ^^
 
I heard the person who trades the orb can exit and another person can enter so long as they mob hasn't been attacked/aggro'ed.

Maybe in 3 person BCs, but definintly not 6. You get the buff that allows you to enter the BC without an orb the moment someone in the party trades theirs. Without it, you can't enter.
 
in dynamis once due to a mixup, we had ~66 people show up, and the "wrong" people got in (basically 1 guy was waiting to give glass to someone who dc'd), 10mins into the run someone has to leave, so now the zone had 63 people, and the other guy tried to enter: no dice.

If something like dynamis can be "filled" and a 65th person can't enter by fact of someone dropping glass to exit, I'd imagine bcnms would have smiliar features.

you sure he also didnt have Lead also? If not I know any bc that does not involve a orb to enter; the record title has the party leader name not the first person to enter.

as for open post..
I whould not recomend tring it most likely it won't work.
 
Dejan's right. I've seen a few cases of BC's I've done myself where the party leader (me) was not the named person in setting the record.
 
KS99's go to the orb holder, ENM could be the same way due to the alliance nature (first person entering get credit) but I'm 99% sure all single party BC's go to the party leader.
 
i think the record names is the one that open chest. I remember doing ks30 and everyone leave but me for treasure hunter when opening chest, and record was set on my name.

I can second this as correct. I went with a group who had all 6 of us with orbs for ks30s and the time we got the record, it was the person who popped the chest at the end and not the orb holder or party leader. We fought the fight, and all of us left except the person popping the chest so we all didn't have to make the trek back around through Palborough.

You'll also notice that instead of saying "(Blah blah...) the record is held by six adventurers including (insert your name here)," it just says the record is held by that one person who popped the chest.

lv thf 1-18 solo get 40orbs+ normaly go in with that char and 2 others then run down hill and use the action [Run away!] and you can leave and some one else can go in did it all the time for some stuff mates wanted

Not recently. I've been doing Double Dragonian and Contaminated Colloseum for about a month and a half now, and after the last maintenance it was the orb holder's name on the record.

I presume it may vary according to ENM, BC, KS, or mission / quested BC fights.

edit: well... I'mma ride the fence on this one. I know I paid attention to who's name goes on the record recently, but I can't remember if it was the KS runs or a CoP mission.
