BCNM20: Wings of Fury SOLO

So, I just dinged BST 20 today, and in my celebration i decided to solo the Wings of Fury BCNM, which i hear can be hell.

I start of by buying 17 Hi-potions+3 and 3 Hi-potions+2 (yes i wanted to make sure i would live), a pear au lait, and a yagudo drink.

Get my orb... its darksday, not good. Take airship to sandy and on the way the Ghelsba it switches over to Firesday. Somewhere on alla forums i hear that firesday is bad for charming... o well i prepared im not waiting another damn hour.

Enter BCNM, buff up (forgot Protect lmao), and attempt to charm the right bat. Failure (expected). I kite, pop a hi-potiont because 3 bats attacking will drop you down pretty quick and my second charm sticks.

Rest of fight is history. I familiard the charmed bat and had it attack the big one, meanwhile im killing my bat and popping hi-pots when needed.

Colo-colo kills my pet as i kill my bat, and i finish him off.

Drops : Scroll: Deodorize, Platoon Sword, Platoon Lance, Bat fang... /sigh theres always tomorrow.

PS Only used 9 hi-pots out of the 20.

Wow, I did know that BCNM20 Wings of Fury could be done solo...but its sounds like alot of work.

I did this BCNM for the first time the other night, i was a WHM and the other two BSTs did most of the work, and it seemed like a simple plan to charm the other bats to attack Colo-colo...all I had to do was heal!

But the fact you did the work, that 3 can do easily, you have my Congratulations! Good work hope you get that drop, your putting more work than me for it. (4/8 Drop on Astral Rings ^_^)imp:

Ive found that for this BCNM the two best jobs are BST and MNK i can't wait till i hit 20 on my bst i wanna try and solo this myself. I wish ya the best of luck next time that you get the drops because buying those hipots can get expensive after ahwile

Congrats Exo. It's a fun fight solo. That's how I got my pair of astral rings. Definatly don't go on darkday though. Did that once when I wasn't paying attention to what day it was and I got owned big time.

Haha thanks for the replies. I have 14 seals, gonna farm the last 6 when leveling up my BST today, ill post my next runs results later tonite.

And, if any BST is interested im also up for the 2 bst 1 whm setup as well, so that way i can have 3 times the fun. Just send me a PM.

You know, BLU rules at this BCNM. i can easily solo one bat while the BST teams up with a furies against the colocolo. they all go down at about the same time if done correctly.

Good job, I've lost this one once before when I had 3 people, making me about 28/30. Also lost it once when there was only 2 of us.

Better luck next time on the drops.
