There literally is a ton of complaining going on about the system this year. Hopefully they do something about it in the off season, I doubt it will happen over night I just hope it gets fixed in the near future.
The other polls had Texas Tech ranked #2 too. So you can't say the BCS is BS because of that simple fact. It is a flawed system, but it is still better than what we had before the BCS. Also no matter what they do will not everyone will be happy. I think the major change they need to do is the big lay off b/w the final regular season games to the bowl games. Thats the major issue to me.
I think a +1 game would be the best fix, but if they did do a playoff system. I think they should make it where the 6 major conference champions and 2 at large bids get to play for the national championship. As it is right now I would like to see them make a rule that states that if a team doesn't win its conference championship then it isn't eligible to play for the national championship. That would cut out a lot of the drama.

How does a 3-4 loss conference champion get in over a one loss, higher ranked team? ONLY IN THE BCS.
Big East and ACC do not deserve bids.
You just told David Letterman that he has a gap between his teeth. Try to keep up.
Well they are still 2 of the major conferences. So you couldn't say the Big Ten, Pac-10, SEC, and Big 12 all get an automatic bid and the other 2 major conferences don't because of a down year for both. They just need to seed them based on their rank in the polls.
I meant to say Oklahoma. Also the people who make the polls and fans are emotional when it comes to who should be where week by week. Texas barely got beat by Texas Tech at Texas Tech's home. Oklahoma had a by week to prepare for them and it showed. It was also at there home too. Texas Tech through the years have been shown not to be a good away team specially against a top notch opponent. So it didn't shock me one bit that Oklahoma spanked them. Texas is a worthy team to be ranked #2 in the nation. I actually have no problem w/ that. All I can say to Oklahoma is you shouldn't have gotten beat by Texas by 10 points on a neutral field.
It is because of tradition that they would go play in the Rose Bowl or w/e. So the BCS still allows conference champions to play in their usual bowl for that conference.
Another comical thing in play right now, only USC can get ownd by an unranked team and climb back to number 5 without playin' anyone. L O L
Its time to move on. Times change, and the tradition should change. Who cares to see a damn Big 10 or Pac 10 rose bowl because it's tradition...those are terrible teams in a terrible conference (Penn State being the exception).
Every year there is a game that proves the BCS ranking is garbage. This years game played out last night with OU rollin' over Texas Tech 65-21.
The game was over in the first quarter...
I used to like CFB, but I just can't watch it when the championship game is coming down to bullshit like this.
Don't you see? Thats my whole point as to why the BCS is crap. It's not fair that a 3-4 loss team gets in over a 1 loss team that finishes in a 3 way tie in conference full of top 10 teams.
The reason an SEC team wont win the BCS title this year, right here:
Alabama vs. Florida for the SEC championship. Ain't that fuggin' comical?

It's dumb that automatic bids are even in... i mean HOW do you reward a program not in the top 25 a chance to play in a BCS bowl? STUPID
Oklahoma vs. Florida, Alabama vs. texass playoff {Can I have it?}
