@ level 52 and 85 hours. I didn't do everything, all the hunts and stuff, (about 25 or so of them done and some elite hunts) but my roomate is moving out and I was using his copy to play, so I had to get down to it. I have to say I really liked this game. I know there are tons and tons of threads about this game adn picking it apart and what not, but honestly I don't think I've had this much FUN playing a final fantasy game ever (save for 11 but its been a year since i played that anyway).

I have to say that I really liked the hunts/marks part of this game the most. It really did a good job of taking care of the leveling up aspect without having to go grind out some levels on mobs I don't care about. I really enjoyed how the battle system worked. I even loved the characters, except for Vaan. Pansy.

The only thign I used a guide for was to look up hunts for the last week (see: roomate moving out) and the locaton of the ribbon and bubble magick.

And the ending was pretty awesome too!

Lastly, it was awesome being in Ivalice again after playing the shit out of final fantasy tactics advance. So cool that Montblanc was the leader of the clan, so awesome that Nono repaired my ship.

Thats all. Cool game. Probably will play it again.

Who are you and why should we care?

PS do you still that old sig you made for me? Those were the days before I knew of hosting my own crap.

I lost my game when i was close to the end :(

How do you lose a full game case and/or a cd? Where else do you put your cd besides the case and your ps2/ps3? Don't answer that >.>

Anyways, I don't get all this losing game stuff. I cant even lose a DS game, I don't know how people lose PS2 games ;P

I'm guessing the save file.

I have no fucking idea how i really lost it it probly got jacked or sumthing... i left it on my desk in a Samurai Warriors case (which is the thing i cant find) i went to a cruise ship aparently the cleaning lady cleaned myroom and she put it somewhere she cant remember or it fell somewhere hard to reach... and i was actualy enjoying the game :(

I'm still stuck on Elder Wyrm. Go me.

cleaning ladies steal video games, its a known fact

OMG, so am i. but when i lost my 7th to the wyrm, thats when i decided it would be better if i called it quits...for now. grats on beating the game Panda, i hope i can can do the same one day lol.

Replay value?

I finished 12 months ago and spent some time leveling up all my characters and doing the tougher marks. When all is said and done, I don't think I've ever played a Final Fantasy game that I didn't think I'd replay until now. I don't know if it's because this game had such a broad scope or what. I enjoyed it and there were things I liked but I didn't care for the characters or the storyline as much as past FF's.

X remains my favorite, followed by VII and VIII, and those I will and have played many times. I was just curious to see if anyone else felt similarly about 12?

I bought XII in October I believe, and I've yet to play it after the first few minutes.

I played a little bit longer than that... It just doesn't feel like a FF game to me and I can't get into it. Maybe it has to do with the fact it started off like StarWars meets LoTR.

Yiazmat was the best boss imho out of all of them. That battle was just fucking fun.

I beat Elder Wyrm 1/1 on a normal playthrough at... level 25... ish?

It was extremely hard, even Yaizmat in a level 122333 challenge would be easier O_O

Anyways, congrats on beating FFXII ^^

I didn't really feel emotionally invested in that game until something happened in the plot that i really should have seen coming but didn't, then i just got pissed off and had to take down the fuckin empire.

ten sucked, holy crap, that glorified movie with such infantile characters.. ugh

I played 12 up to Arihman boss then looked over at my bookshelf (where I keep my games) and saw about 8 other games I hadn't opened yet that I'd rather be playin'. Without hesitation I took it to Gamestop and traded it in toward my Eternal Sonata pre-order. The game sucked, the story sucked, and the whole skills system was a mess. All-in-all, I want my other $25 bucks back from the game and someone to buy my guide as they were a serious waste of my money. I saw it coming though so I don't know why I bought it in the first place.

It's a nice game, I really wished this game had some sort of provoke. I'd designate one of my characters a 'tank', only to find that he couldn't pull hate.

I also tried kiting adamantoise once, but it didn't work so well ^^
