Because this has to do with gaming, kind of.

Another arrogant business person. Idiots will be idiots, and when you try to nickle and dime customers as well as belittle and verbally attack them, your business will suffer. The internet has offered that one plus side, word does get around much faster and wider than in the past.

Oh well.

Wow, I read the penny arcade posts and other responses. Just wow lol good that the asshole got canned and the controller will be changing marketing companies. I feel that this alone will prevent Paul from ever having a job in marketing again. It's very easy to google him and find what's burned him. Even more than that, find that he's incapable of typing out coherent thoughts in proper english. Even if there's some punctuation mistakes or something, he came across as a mentally inept 38 year old man boy to me lol

There's stupid, and there's stupid, and there's this.

Seriously, way to piss away your career.

lmfao, yeah this is great. glad he made a complete spectacle of the implosion of his life and career, he deserved every bit of it, his behavior in those first few emails to the customer exposed him as a douche of the lowest order. he actually says to a paying customer, "you just got told bitch" how did this fratboy with the mind of a 12 year old get in this position in the first place?

and I love how he starts name dropping everyone under the sun, from kotaku to Sean Buckley, to the mayor of Boston, to, a threat to sic his army of PR attack dogs on penny arcade. just REEKS of pathetic desperation.

here's a question, he claims to have 150+ people on his "PR Team" that he speaks of, as if they are is personal peons, why didn't he delegate the customer service job to one of them? like one who wasn't such a giant dickhole?

edit:: lmao, went to the ocean marketing website and right there on the front page is a lovely quote
Your Brand is no stronger then your reputation, and will increasingly depend on what comes up when you are Googled
how true, ooo the poetic irony is delicious

Found out that he's the only person at Ocean Marketting and much of the content on his site is plagarized. He blamed freelance Indian people.

Note I didn't do this screen cap, but the twitter handle asking the question actually is mine.

I'm just baffled that anyone thought it was a good idea to hire what is an almost laughably-stereotypical internet tough guy to handle their PR.
