Well... when I was getting my bags from when I was visiting. I put my hand on the handle, felt something moving under my hand. I look. BAM!! There's a bee stinging me.

I even watched it fly off with its stinger missing and its guts flying out.

This was on my right pinky. It started out as a tiny bit swollen.

My left pinky... non-swollen

This is my right pinky... not sure if you can tell the difference between this one and the non-swollen one. But this one is thicker.

So yeah... how am I s'posed to take care of a bee sting?

Its hella itchy... and I don't know if I should itch it or not.

I cant remember alot on bee sting but dont itch it whatsoever.
If the stinger is still there dont use tweezers to grab it out cause that will inject more of the venom into you. Thats all I can remember atm sorry.

lol That is a jelly fish sting.

Take some benedryl (sp?)

When the bee stung me... it left its ass behind.. so I pulled out the stinger and the backside slowly with my hands... no clue if the stinger is still in there... but I remember taking it out.

I was getting onto a bus to come back home.. so I didn't really have anything to use..

so what if I itched it already?

I took some benedryl(sp?) today

dont pee on it.. if youre gonna try that tactic use ammonia cause thats all the pee is for. no need to piss on yourself there.

Pee on it, then you won't be worrying about the bee sting.

You will be more concerned about how much your hand smells like pee/

I'm sorry Chuash, we're going to have to amputate.

at the wrist.

Wikipedia knows all!
If the victim is not allergic, reduce pain and swelling with a cold compress. Swelling and itching may persist for a week. Do not scratch the area as that will only increase the itching and swelling. If a reaction persists for over a week or covers an area greater than 3 or 4 inches, seek medical attention.

thanks

Keep taking some type of anti-histamine (e.g. benedryl) for as long as it's swollen so your body doesn't attack the venom and make it worse.

All you need to do is get some baking soda and mix a little bit of water in it, until it is like a paste, then cover the affected area and let it dry.

I believe I took out the stinger all the way...

Also.. the swelling(sp?) is going down really fast. Plus it doesn't hurt to bend my pinky :)

It would have happened alot faster if you had peed on it.

What you do is you scratch it as hard as you can until it goes away.

after it healed up.. it felt like there was something still in there.. maybe the left overs of the stinger.. never know.. but yeah..

I just scratched it out as hard as I could then yeah.. its gone
