The difference with that one and Excim's is that Excim is taking the shots from the game and editing them into pictures. The picture you posted was taken out of model viewer as a different file, open with a graphic's editing tool, re-shadowed, and finally place (in 3-D) into the picture. There's a whole forum at Killingifrit's about it. Though the program and how to use it are actually quite difficult to use, from what I hear.

been using the gimp for quite some time now, very nice program, very easy to anything. working on a tavnazian archepologo and pugoro isle in those styles. i have a feeling the pugorogoro(i always spell that wrong >.>) will come out much better, cuz tavnazia is just 2 cliffs that i drew a brige inbetween with some buildings, youll see, im very excited about finishing ^^
