Yeah if you go to the website for the product it lists benefits such as "let BOB be the bad guy." Parents aren't supposed to be your friend, they're supposed to exercise tough love. I love my parents and would tell them almost everything but I also have the fear of Mom put on me. I am thankful that they were smart enough to teach me that I had to respect them and their rules.
I realize that the article is supposed to be sarcastic about the product but just the fact that this thing exists makes me sad. Parents should be able to tell their kids that the TV time is over.
