This Sux I'm in Tampa FL away on business so i won't be able to witness this... :-( Is it true you don't lose exp if you die during Besieige?
 
That's what they say. Then again, you might be taken prisoner, which could either suck or be really interesting, depending on who you know and how willing they'd be to come free you.

I'm gonna haul ass to get out there after I get off work to finish getting my Olduum Ring and hang around town to see if it finally happens.

lol taken Prisoner, I can see it now my friends are gonna have to farm monsters in the Beastmen Stronghold and hope a Key drops to free me...lol

Quadruple post? I didn't think QCDN was running that slow... And only NPCs can be taken prisoner... Including everyone's two favorite tarus, the CC guild salesman and Jeuno teleporter. I feel sorry for the army that takes either of them prisoner.

*massive server-wide call to arms and 600 mercenaries march upon the beastmen stronghold to free their favorite Al Zhabi tarutaru*
 
you do realize that You(players) dont get taken prisoner... they will kill then defile your corpse by peeing on it.

They only things that get take prisoner are the NPCs like shopkeepers, NPC Mercenaries, an Serpant Generals.... when they get taken prisoner the function they provide in town is not avalible..


lets say the beastmen capture the Corsair Dice NPC in Al Zhabi.. then that NPC wont be in town.. you(or someone else will have to rescue them before they appear back in al zhabi

Hehe, PC's can be taken prisoner? (that'd be cool) I'm so fu**ed though, once I annonce I was taken (if we can be), I swear I'll hear the champagne corks flying from here.

I was told players could be taken prisoner as well - which I thought was suspicious. Apparently I was right to find it suspect.

I hope the battle is adjusted for the levels and amount of people involved. It would be kind of disappointing to have the invasion crushed by a legion of 75s in a matter of minutes.
