besides the obvious...

Unless Quetzalcoatl is the lowest population server, wouldn't just making another character should just put you on another server?
 
um... huh? it'd be like making a mule... but putting it on another server, is what i'm really asking. unless i have to make a new login or something... 'cause i'm sure if i'd go to alla and ask someone for a worldpass, they're gonna think i'm just another gil seller trying to get in.

Just buy your own world pass. They just let you pick which server you want to go to, they don't force you to go to the server the world pass originates from.

really? and where would i buy my own world pass.. for.. example... ifrit?
 
Um, you buy it from an NPC on quetz, then use the code given to you to make your new character.

Also, I believe that there are still a bunch of threads made about free world passes people have bought. You could just use one of those.

hmm, i never really ever bought a worldpass, so i dont really know. so if i log in after work and head to the npc that sells world passes.. he/she will sell me a pass for another server???????

It works just fine, the world pass just lets you type in the name of the world you would like the character to be on. The originating world is unimportant.

I got one of my chars on fairy server once. Forget how but I think I just kept trying and it just kept giving me different servers.

hmmmm Well there is a way.
 
just make a character and delete it and make a new one over and over again until you get into the server you want XD my friend did this.
 
If you have a character on Quetzy all your characters will be on Quetzy. If you erase all your characters you can just play create a character until I get on the server I want. Be careful though that certain servers are concidered high population and are shut off from random selection. The only way onto those servers is through a world pass from that server. If you buy a world pass in Quetzy it is only good for letting people onto Quetzy.

Alla has a forum soley dedicated to WP requests. They also link ~10 other WP request forums.

Make sure you have all the Quetzy mules made that you could ever want. Once you create a character on a new server all characters you make post server change will now default to that new server. Unless you erase all your charcaters on the new server then Quetzy will again become your default server.
