Just a quick question...

A relative in America just called me and said that Best buy is doing something for $30 that lets you download full games and make you not need to buy them...

can someone confirm this for me? since they are originally from Canada I want to know if it'll be worth their while getting it from there.

Information wise I was just told that it was an extra 30 bucks for them to add some thing that lets you download games. it sounds like a mod chip but she asked if it was illegal and they said no...

so what I'm asking is if anyone can tell me what they're adding on for that 30 bucks...thanks D=

I'd call her but roaming charges are a bitch...

All that service is doing is "setting up" the online services for those with internet hooked up to their ps3. All they do is set up your account for you, and have it auto login or give you the password. They probably also do the initial updates, which are automatic, and one or two buttons. It's one of those scam services that nobody should ever get unless they're like 90 and don't understand technology, but still want to watch blu-rays.

Yeah, I told her that...I myself was wondering wtf they were on about when she said download games...I was like yeah...Playstation network hahaha but he obviously confused her with stuff because she said that he said (omg lol) some word...that she couldn't remember

she's not too tech savvy but does have a general gist about what to or not to get.

I wonder how many parents/grandparents will fall for this when picking up consoles for their children.

Rhetorical question because none of them should in the first place.

Bestbuy sucks. I hate it

Yeah, she didn't end up buying it because I managed to get in touch with her lol and she also found out the details of what they were offering and it was as the link says...so thanks guys for your help =D
