My friend just imported a Gamecube fighting game from Japan. But this was no ordinary fighting game....it was....NARUTO!

Oh

My

God!

Best fighting game I have ever played in my life! It came out recently, and it is very good.

Here is a link for some details:
http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/narutogekitouninjataisen3/index.html

(P.S. If you do decide to import it, remember that you need another disc so that the Gamecube can read it, since NA Gamecubes cannot read JP discs, etc.)

Very awesome. I've seen screenshots before and it DOES look like a sweet game, but I have neither the money nor the motivation to import it(or buy a Gamecube for that matter). =P

my friend has it.

It is so freaking fun!

not to mention i love the anime as well....speaking of which...i got 3 episodes i need to watch.

/ma Sexy no Jutsu <me>

That better be in the game.

For me, Street Fighter forever, baby. :)

Glad you're having fun, though.

Long live Street Fighter!!!!! ^_^

<----------------------------------------Third Strike Junkie

GO HUGO!!!!!! muwahahahaha

Mokoto all the way, Biotch.

all those are good and all but god people you're forgettin the best of all Fighters

...

Capcom Vs. SNK2, or most of the SNK and Capcom titles c'mon now...

unless of course you cant get past the good ol' days of SF2...

let me remind you

Ryu vs. Ken (CPU vs. CPU) the whole fight was as follows

Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, kick, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, kick, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, punch, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, kick, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken and finally the fight was over (note that half the hadokens were blocked or countered by another Hadoken...)

for real tho...my most counted Hadokens in 1 fight was 29 =/ CPU vs. CPU in SF2(Street Fighter II)

Third Strike eliminated all that, with parrying and the damage from a stand alone fireball does dink damage. Third Strike has a lot more strategy than the MvC series because of the frame rate for each character so you can parry your way out of the old school ken/ryu tactic.

Most competent third strike players know that if you pick ken/ryu combo you are disgustingly predictable. The whole lineup has been balanced nicely where some of the strongest fighters are Ibuki (still needs to be toned down for her juggle priority), Yun also can juggle like crazy, and Hugo is great for anti-air and for laughs which I use to rub in that you suck with ken/ryu. Sure ken/ryu are powerful against people who are just getting into the SF franchise, but that's it.

The MvC series was created to fuel the frenzy of "I need a new crossover vs. series" Frame rates are reduced like hell, and yes it has the option to parry, but it's more twitch based reflex. The lineup is grossly unbalanced, so you end up picking the same power characters and there is no incentive to experiment with other characters.

IMO, the MvC series are nothing but over-glorified cameo spots. Too bad SF has been mis-handled and abused that even hard-core fans like me have given up hope for the series.

I mean come on, Capcom Fighting Evolution. What the hell is that? :(

MvC sucked ass IMO, i was talkin about Capcom Vs. SNK2 for PS2 and the frame rate on that is kick ass

besides the moves were complicated to do so some idiot couldnt just button mash to kill you and actually required skill thats why it's one of the best IMO ^^;

I group this in with "Street Fighter" games. Hence, it's included in awesomeness. This and Alpha 3 are my favourite.

Ah yes alpha 3 thats also my favorite street fighter.

Alpha 3 is awesome, so many fighters to choose from.

But remember, E.Honda rules all with that Sumo Splash. lol

On a side note:
For kicks, try beating people with the one and only uber gimp fighter........

DAN! w00t

Nothing says that you suck when you get pwned by Dan.

I'm all about Cody, he's hilarious. What a scumbag.

Has any one ever played Alpha 3 online through that Kaillera thing?
