Although this shoulda been a thrashing game... post your thoughts... Best game of this season? yes!! Buffalo has bad luck.

I hope everyone watched. The only game you'll see with your own eyes where a QB throws 5 interceptions and fumbles... and still win the game. Because the buffalo offense never scored at TD.

Im So Fucking Pissssssssed

what the fuck do we have to do to win?!?

5 interceptions

1 fumble

1 punt return

AND WE STILL LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

achhaslokjdfhasl;fhasdoi

go fuck a goat cowboys

By far -NOT- the best game ever. It was sloppy and unprofessional. The Cowboys, even though I strongly dislike them, should have played ten times better and this just proves how shitty the Bills are. Both teams assed out and only one of them was suppose to, the Bills. So overall, horrible game. Thank god it interlapped with the Yankees gettin' ownd. There were no good NFL games this week, imo. College Football owned entertainment wise, yet again.

welll if you say that... USC shouldn't be #5 in the AP poll >.> Should be waaaay down that poll

The Bears holding the Packers to 3 points in the second half wasn't good? The Colts holding Denver to 3 points wasn't good?

This game isn't even close to the best game ever. It was an exciting finish, sure, but overall it was a horribly played game. Tony Romo proved everyone trying to throw his name in with Brady, Manning, and Palmer to be morons, yet again, and, oh yeah, the Bills are still horrible. With Romo at the helm, I don't see them standing much of a chance against that Pats defense next week. Not to mention their defense will get picked apart by Brady.

Also, the Bears are horrible Romper, give it up.

Edit: How the hell is Terrell Owens still considered an "elite" wide receiver? He's garbage, he had two drops this game, he dropped the 2pt-conversion attempt which could have (should have, IMO) been caught. He bitches and whines any time he doesn't get thrown to 15 times, and this game he WAS thrown to 15 times and dropped two, missed two others that aren't classified as "drops," and dropped the 2pt-conversion, in the clutch.

To me, the AP poll is total bullshit anyway. USC didn't deserve to be in the top ten at all this year. It's like I was explainin' last year when no one was givin' Florida a chance against Ohio State. The rankings are unfair to the dominate divisions who beat each other up like lunatics because they are a more competitive conference. The SEC is clearly a stronger bunch of teams than any other division and have been for quite some time. Hell, I don't think USC could have contended against, say, even Auburn this year.

Now let's look closely at the AP poll rankings as of now. Look at #2 California, look at their schedule, hell... watch them play. Do you honestly think they could hang with LSU? Hell no. There isn't a team in the top 21, Florida and -maybe- Oklahoma aside. Eh, maybe even Auburn if they play like they did this weekend. That is even on par with LSU. The only team, other than LSU, that deserves to be in the top ten is South Florida. They are shockin' me. They are the only non SEC team in the past few years that I can remember even lookin' like they play on par with the SEC. I think they could contend in the SEC but I don't think they could be LSU. Their Auburn win was a fluke. Probably the worst game Auburn has played in years, need I even mention the performance, or lack their of, from Cox? It's because of the SEC that there are talks of changin' the ranking system in the coming years. It's flawed and always has been. So, I hate the AP poll.

One more reason the AP poll fails. Hawaii is ranked, period. Look at who they play.

No. I knew the Colts were goin' to win. As for the Packers and the Bears... both teams are unexciting to me. They aren't that great. It was only a matter of time before Green Bay got beat. Game of the year would be New England vs. Indianapolis... not Dallas Vs. Buffalo. As for entertainment factor. When USC gets beat by Stanford, Auburn plays well for the second week in a row (provin' the Florida win wasn't a fluke), LSU hangin' on for dear life, and Tennessee destroyin' Georgia, college football was clearly the more exciting of the two this week.

True, Romo had a terrible game and i fear for sunday as well. I think the cowboys will lose.. i just don't want it to be a thrashing. The only good note to the game tonite (monday) was that the cowboys defense and bills defense played well (bills offense = 3 pts). The reason the bears 'suck' is because their defense is on the field too long b/c griese/grossman throw interceptions too often and the other team goes on a long drive for a TD or FG or punt. So a tired defense will inevitably get beat. I thought Trent Edwards (i think that's his name) played very well too. The offense was using the crowd to gain momentum and they had it for some time. Since you don't have any 'tape' on the qb to study him (well.. 1 game..) just like how it was with Romo last season, Edwards was great and he was 3rd round draft pick from an 0-7 college (before injury). The buffalo defense did what the previous 4 teams the cowboys played didn't do: STOP THE MIDDLE PASS and man-up on T.O. Like shyrra said, TO hasn't played like the superstar he's 'supposed' to be. At times it's due to Romo not throwing far enough (reaching backward to pass and not catching in stride) and other times he drops the ball or catches it outta bounds. My opinion.. TO is there to as a decoy because if you got 2-3 ppl following him... well you get the rest. And he's also your deep threat if you can throw the ball. You see the games he was in when he was an Eagle. McNabb throws a bomb and TO's speed (which you saw vs. Rams when Crayton caught the ball and TO caught up to block for him like it was nothing) lets him get to the pass. TO can't catch in traffic. He's the Yards after Hit kinda receiver. OK getting off topic. I thought tonite was one of the best games in the NFL played because you got your money's worth. You had Official Reviews, Double Clutch Field Goals, Buffalo about to close the game but get intercepted, 6 turnovers by Dallas, a 103 yard kick return for TD by buffalo, successful onside kick, Buffalo being back on MNF since 13 years prior. Really, what more could you ask for?

I'm still confused how Florida is ranked higher than Auburn.... the UT OU game was good too.

I haven't denied that the Bears are horrible. I've said here that the Bears offense is bad and the secondary is average at best. Holding the Packers to a field goal however was good.

Simple Florida is playing a harder scheduel being BCS champs from the 06 college season. I'm glad Ron Zook is getting recognition for his hard work. Illinois ranked 18th, but still it's the Big 10. I can't believe Boise State isn't drawing more votes after the bowl game.

I have a feeling that the polls are picked on name recognition and not looking at record against conference then over all record. They really need a playoff instead of this BCS BS. Yes I realize how long that would take, but it gets rid of the confusion that is the BCS polls. You have the top teams from the major conferences: SEC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12, and PAC 10 (yes I realize I am probably missing one here). Take the top 2 have them play off for the Championship bowl game then whoever loses fills for the other bowls. Then do the same for MAC Mid-USA WAC w/e is there.

Auburn got beat by USF before anyone was giving them a fighting chance in their new division. They also got beat by another unranked team, Mississippi State. They were playin' horrible at the front of their season. Other than that, that's just how the AP poll works, it's flawed. Horribly flawed.

Other than non divisional games (the first few of the season), they play the same teams. They are in the same conference. As far as the first few games, Auburn's non divisional teams played were against the toughest teams in their division which, is more than we can say for Florida. Winning the BCS doesn't determine your future schedule. It's all conference based.

Ya I thought the non-divisional games would have had some impact for Florida because of them winning the championship against Ohio. I kind of hate scheduling in college football because you tend to see teams play each other a lot. This really doesn't work for the BCS because you're getting raked nationally for playing your own conference. For example the PAC 10 is usually a meh conference except for USC Cal and maybe UCLA. Then you have a team like Kentucky who plays in the SEC with Florida LSU Alabama Auburn Georgia are usually the not so bad teams. Then this year SEC has the surprising South Carolina Game Cocks.

I just realized something why the hell is Louisiana Tech in the WAC?

Where they originate doesn't really matter for most conferences. I assume you know W is for west and wonderin' why they aren't in a southern conference. This is the same case with USF. S for south, why are they in the Big East? I notice a few other conferences have multi regional teams. I think it's more-or-less which conference better suits the teams skill ranking. I don't think USF would contend very well in the SEC and Louisiana Tech. wouldn't even have a fightin' chance. There are a few other southern conferences, like the Sunbelt Conference for example, but these teams are extremely weak. But anyway, like the AP polls, more mystery in the set up of college football :p

Florida lost to Auburn by a walk off field goal, and lost a game they led the entire way against LSU with a minute to play. Losing to LSU the way florida did in all honesty should have boosted them in ranking, not dropped them. CAL being #2 is a joke, as is BC at #4.

Its pretty obvious the SEC is indeed the superior conference this year by a pretty huge margin. So many teams contending this year, problem is, as Strid said, they have to play against eachother.

LSU, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tenessee, Alabama, Auburn...all have been ranked afaik, and many of them near/in the top ten at some point this season. Far and away the best conference.

Brady and Manning, ok, I can see the argument there. But tell me what Palmer has done? If anything I'd still give the nod to Romo over Palmer. But until either wins a championship, seriously there aren't that many elite QBs in the league.

Lol, Romo over Palmer?

Muffed Field Goal snap. 'Nuff said.
