Best player names.

Hello everyone, I wanted to know who people have teamed up with and considered to be incredible players. Now, here's the thing, I don't care about personality in this topic, I'm talking about skill. If a paladin can hold hate perfectly but is a prick, he/she can be nominated. I just want to hear some peoples stories about the best skilled people they've PTed with.

Last night in Yhoater Jungle I had the pleasure of teaming up with what was probably the best player I ever been with since the PC launch in October, a Mithra RNG/NIN named Lucylittle. First I give tons of respect for someone taking a Ranger job, I've heard how expensive it can be to have the best gear and to be using the best arrows and bow all the time (not dissing other jobs, it's just my personal opinion). She was unleashing on mandys and gobs with no problem, her Utsusemi kept her well in the HP department, and she was the best puller I've ever seen. We were chaining up to 5 constantly, no downtime, it was just kill and back to pulling another enemy.

It wasn't just the damage output that impressed me, it was the performance on whole, she was a really nice player, pulled excellently, and knew what skills to use and when. Me being a THF/NIN, I would consider myself a decent puller considering thats my role in almost all PT's, but when someone can pull chain 5's all the time in that crowded jungle, I think they deserve some respect.

Anyway, anyone else have some stories with someone they PTed with that was amazing to watch?

Well, I'd have to say Glide, Kahlaan, Wafaringlemon and Himura...I had the honour of Partying with them on my first trip into the Crawler's Nest...I'd heard stories of this place being a death trap and after the frst couple of kills all i could say was WOW! :shock: If your ever in luck and get an invite...def. dont hestitate... /bow /kneel /praise and kill a lil bit If they leave you anything to kill :wink:

and special mentions to Kagomei for being a Puller amoung Pullers!! a while back in Yuhtunga

Chaostrider - Paladin. Possible the best Paladin I've ever pted with IMO. He keeps hate like a madman and always has awesome gear. Plus he's really nice... and in my ls .

Odhinn - Monk. As long as everything is going his way he's a really good monk. I've even seen him outdamage the Darkknight in my PT (Sorry Ellion!)

i would like to say Bjbreezes(sp) he was a galka Brd i played with in PT over by norg around lvl 32 with my monk. well he always switched instruments for every song and always kept them one and the mages almost never had to rest and i dont think i droped below 600 hp nor did anyone else. and if i could remember any of the PT i would put them up here to but i can't ><damn you blondeness><

i have a litle bit of trouble with kagomei, but i dont feel like ruining the "Good times" board, however wayfaringlemon's brother, was in my first party in sarutabaruta, we lost contact, but then, while im on my high horse by sucessfully riding the boat across at level 12 (/em shines a badge) i decide to head to bastok, cant quite remember why, but i wasnt headed to sandy and anyway, i settle in bastok for a day or 2, set up a rent-a-room, and on my way outta town, hey, mithy, i was :shock: i knew no one in bastok,then, apon checking who said that, i was certain i didnt know anyone with lemon-related names, hes starts going into the whole story about how his brother (the meleeing blm as i used to call him, was in every fight with his staff) knew me, and just happened to look at the screen at just the right time in just the right place his brother was playing, coincidence eh?

i sold my monster signa to him at a discounted price, whoever he bought that present should be getting it anyday, and i bet they are hopping mad with love, almost 300k he spent on the lucky someone.

pwnage,zura,justarius,linan,cherron,craran,brianfist,seph,marx and all members of crystal warders!!! we rock!!!!! suprisingly, 4 people the minimum levels, could take down the monsters needed for coffer keys, and still get several nice xp chains

hamlett great blm, enough said, hes like 6k or so from 65 so if you see him around invite him, and tell him mithy says hi ^^

jeprox, another great blm, sadly hes retired

darkchyld, 59 nin shes great

vaden- a great monk in the 71-ish area, hes recently been working on getting asuran fists from the NM, or something @_~

aewynn- ultimately my rdm hero, not the reason i became rdm, we didnt meet until i was 36ish,anyway, aews always been a positive rdm mithra rold model for me, often gets random tells about info on AF and other rdm related material

I'm going to have to say Roofie. Whenever we get an LS pt together back when i was in the dunes area, he'd be pullin and we'd chain like 4-5 times in a row...he's just fast and knows what he's doing.

I'll have to say that Kateverlasting and Laur are also great players. Kat is whatever we need her to be at the time and fits her role like a pro. Laur is our WHM and is on the ball every single time.

best player in my eyes would be Junkie or Faedryth still cause they are close comrades and always seem to know what they are talking about.

Maldoror (sp?) PLD, PTed with him in the nest, great PLD, there wasnt anything i could do to take his hate, and he had the tip top equips for his lvl (40)

Iggman another PLD. partyd with him at lvl 31 in the deasert long ago. another person i couldnt steal hate from with a crowbar. and bein a taru, was keepin himself alive so well that i spent a couple battle doing almost nothing

Asiamise ^_^. SAM and personal friend. to particular reason, just wanted to nominate her. and she IS rather good at what she does, takeing the mobs HP from it

I whole heartedly agree with you about them. They're awesome.

I used to be in their linkshell (left for personal reasons, still have the pearl though), and they where/are totally kickass (really nice also).


I'd also have to mention Leifthrasir (red mage, 44). Although i don't get to party with him much (due to the fact that i can't keep up with him very well), the few times i did he has always performed his job with excellence; whether it be black mage, bard or red mage, he always took care of his duties, and even helped pick up other peoples slack.

Sindarkus - BLM that can consistently out-damage a taru BLM. Really good friend of mine and I can't wait until we can party again. Very skilled player, in my opinion

Acoustic - 74DRG. don't think he plays anymore but he was the reason I became a dragoon. He was the exact image of Kain 8)

I've got a few to add. First off is my fiancé, Otiluke. And no, I'm not listing him because of that; I've always thought he was a very skilled and knowledgeable player, even back when I barely knew him. That was one of the things that attracted me to him. ^^

Next would be my good friend Veteran. He is probably one of the very best PLDs you'll ever meet, and should you get a chance to PT with him, take it! I even heard a story one time about how some JP players in his PT were (most likely) testing him; the WHM spammed Flash, and the DRK used Soul Eater + Last Resort, and he kept hate on himself perfectly. They all /clapped for him after the battle was over. XD He's also very knowledgeable about other jobs, which I believe is a prerequisite for a truly skilled player. If you only know your own role in a PT, you can't work well with others. Plus, he always goes out of his way, taking breaks from leveling if need be, to have the best equipment he can for his level. I remember one time when he stopped leveling for like 2 weeks to farm enough gil for a Mermaid Ring (which sold for 250k at the time).

Another person that comes to mind is Kitana. I've PTed with her a few times, and she's a pretty damn good WHM, in my humble opinion. She's also good at organizing good PTs, which is something I wish I were better at.

I've met several other skilled players, but sadly, I don't remember their names. :/

Hi all, new to the boards, sort of

Anyway, heres my list ^^

1st and foremost, Jazper, i have never ever seen a pally that damn good. I've watched alot of the lower lvl pallys flounder around trying to get their feet under them, and ive seen some of the better mid-upper lvl pallys starting to hit their groove, but none even come close to Jaz. Hes in a world of his own, and thats about the only way i can think of to say it.
Never seen Jaz tank? Grab a beer, sit back and watch, it's pretty

2nd Danish, i dont know what lvl hes up to now, but this guy was one crazy dragoon at lvl 40 or so. For some reasone, maybe gear, maybe just dumb luck, my samurai had been laying waste to most other DD's up through lvl 35-40, then along comes danish to gustav tunnel, and all of a sudden WHAM, my damage looks like a taru with a spatula eating wild onions Oo sent me right back to the AH looking for better gear, it was insane, never been punked out like that, before or since. "umm, hey danish, maybe You should end the SC huh?"

3rd, and i havent seen his name yet on the boards, and its a damn shame:
Kaeyo, without a doubt one of the best Mages (black and white) on the server, in my and many peoples opinions. I had a cannon PT in garlaige, ~32ish, i was tanking (this was before the TP nerf patch), samurai solo a distortion for a quad magic burst. we had blms rotating in and out all day, so i met a fair crossection of them all, and kae shows up and blows them all away. extremely competent, extremely nice, and an all around FUN little taru ^^ Many many props to kaeyo, who especially blew my mind when he said "im a whm main, just having some fun with my dark side ;P"

4th is a combo, Aeiou and Meowth, who were the makers of the above PT, who sadly i hear dont play anymore ; ; Anyway, these two had a great dynamic job-wise between them, so much so that it was almost impossible to drain their mp. i swear we could have hit chain 7 if there werent 3 other pts in zone that day....

5th Aurorine, my lovely, sweet little Auro, who is above all other things, a demon beast from hell. this girls damage is through the roof, ive never seen nukes like that, ever. she was first in our ls to hit 75, been organising Dynamis and god HNM fights etc with her partner in crime BJbreeze (a most Excellent thief), but i still remember our hunt for khazaam keys, when she decided shed tank the whole grotto with her new toy firaga Oo there was nothing left for me to kill >< As far as i know, she still holds the clear time record for BLM Maat fight ^^

6th Alteredstate, a ranger par excellance, IMO one of the 2 best NA rangers on the server. most of you can guess who the other is, so ill leave that unsaid, but altered is just a flat out quality ranger, thats all there is to it.

7th Razzu, a much unsung hero, and a kind of samurai mentor for me. he gets this one solely on personality, kind and exorbitantly helpful, and for having the sack to do sam/rng, and do it very very well. who would have thought that a sam would be the one who was hitting Ose with the greatest Accuracy?

8th Jsoft, for the much underappreciated Leadership skill. an organiser, a helper, and a very quick study of the few things he does not already excell at. Jsot leads a ZM5 ally.... Jsoft's Patience skill rises .3 points

9th Jebustherussian, for his quality crafting skills, which definately fall under the heading of "playing skills". Also for the fact that i met him his 1st day on, and hed already gotten to lvl 12-13, and was asking me about skillchains and the best weapon he should use. lol, i saw him on the next day and hed already bought a great axe and skilled it up to 40 for his 1st trip to the dunes. Jebus is the man ^^

10th and final, Jazper again. seriously, ive heard the following more times than i can count: "well, hes not Jaz, but hes not Too bad".

well, thats my list, i probably forgot a few that ill add later after i finish my coffee, but its almost a Full moon, and i have 10k carp to catch

I have to second Kaeyo. That little Taru is a freaking machine, and one of the nicest people I've met ingame.

Jesarius, he can find a party, assemble it, figure out Roles, coordinate repalcements and have a Soda, while tied up, in a barrel, falling down a Waterfall and gagged ... I saw that one once, he finished the Soda before he hit the Ground. Also a very commendable, if a bit rusty, away from Game for a couple months, Paladin. Loves Tanking, for some Reason.

Personally Ihave had the misfortune to be in too many dunes parties and gave up PLD
maybe after i level nin ill go back to it /shrug
anywho i remember... a whm in kazham once cant remember the name...
but... damnit.... i dont think anyone ever went to yellow
