It's called a joke.

Learn to take one.

It's not even bashing any PS3 in existance. Just a fake Ken Kutaragi'd up "retort" to the 360 Elite.

Huh? I like the PS3. I'm just waiting for it to have some decent games on it before I go out and buy one. This was just something funny I found on Kotaku.

Lol, ya. It seems to be bashing the 360 a bit more than the PS3 XD lol.. but I don't care. Even if it was bashing the PS3, that's a funny add. (I say it seems to be bashing the 360 cause I've heard 360 having those kinda problems :P)

360 always had rumble though. Sonys the guys that thought it'd be a good idea to not have it.

Actually it was more of a legal issue because Sony ripped a company's rumble tech and got sued for it.

Yeah, but they could have developed their own. It's not like SCE is a struggling company trying to stay in the Black. Atleast, before they started manufacturing PS3s. But instead they thought "Nah, forget it." Yo holmes, to Bel Air.

I believe that they next pulled up to the house around seven ... or eight.

Seriously, though, that ad has convinced me. I'll buy one now. It's HONEST.

True, wait.. X-Box has a rumble? I never realized XD ah well. Some of the other problems didn't sound like problems I've heard about the PS3. It sounded more like a little of PS3's problems and a little of 360's :P still a funny movie.

It's probably because rumble's pretty useless, anyhow. I turn it off when I'm using a wireless controller. It'd be nice to have as an option, and there's apparently third party hardware that allows for rumble. But I'm not sure to be fairly honest; rumble's not important to me and I already own four controllers.

Hmm, I zone out too much I guess or just don't have sensitive hands? I dunno.. but I rarely notice rumble myself. But it's not a bad thing to have. *shrugs*

So is HD, but it's included for those that want to use it. It's not like games cease to function running in SD on an HD display.

Rumble is a pretty standard feature imo. Even if one out of every ten people don't want to use it, it should be there. It was a dumb idea not to include it, theres no reason to defend the decision because you, personally, find it useless.

well the only reason I could give to NOT have it would be if it drained the battery horribly. I don't know how the Sony rumble they had for PS2 controllers.. how much power it took.. but it might have drained the wireless horribly :P (but I really doubt that) and that is really no excuse for leaving out the rumble for when you hook up a PS2 controller straight to the system.. that's just.. dumb.

Yeah, my only gripe about Waverbirds were the lack of rumble. But the Gamecube didn't have play-and-charge so Nintendo either had to go with a wall outlet cable linked to the controller, a third party provide a battery pack with the same deal, or just stick with regular batteries. They could've gone with a rechargable battery, and I hate that they didn't, but leaving recharge up to wall outlets is extremely hindering. Other than that, it was a solid, and most importantly, first party wireless controller.

HD makes a much larger difference not only to gaming but visuals than rumble has ever had for gaming. I think it's a waste of battery, space, and materials. But I guess this is coming from someone who didn't start gaming only ten years ago and still visits arcades on a daily basis.

If the rumble in your wireless controller is equivelant to that of an N64 rumble pack, or the original PS1 controllers, then thats something to worry about. Those were like jackhammers, lol. But the Wii Remotes batteries last pretty long, even with the rumble... Although, the rumble is considerably weaker than previous controllers, its still there and noticable (I cant say much about the 360's, I dont have one)

HD is nice and all, but its not going to immerse you any more than rumble feature will imo. It is more pleasing to the eye, however.

/sigh I wanna get a 360 hahah

No, just no. HD is nice, but it doesn't add anything to gameplay . Rumble adds immersion into the games by letting you feel some feedback of actions on screen. But then, that is the PS3's motto, graphics > immersion and gameplay. Rumble is a small addition to gameplay, sure, but it's still added more to gameplay than a picture that shows the exact same thing as standard def only crisper.

Rumble doesn't drain batteries all that fast, with the Wii they last quite a long time(over 30 hours of gameplay, but I haven't counted specifically). That's also only an issue if you have a wireless controller, which before now wired was the standard; and even now batteries still last a long time and the "problem" is solved with rechargable batteries. Oh no, you have to recharge the batteries every 30 hours instead of 36(if the difference is even that big), however will you live with such a burden?
