so, i know Moon Phase plays a role in synthing as well as item drops from mobs. does this also hold true for items received from BCNMs?

if so, i'd want to try to time my BCNM runs for a full moon correct?

6:32 Earthsday on Waxing moon phase open the chests for a .005% higher rare item drop rate. Also, face SE while opening the chest, and make sure that everyone's HP is <100 hp from total.

shit, i had it ALL wrong. I was plannin on going in at 10:48 Firesday and facing due West. >.< And i guess i'm totally screwed on the HP thing since i'm pretty certain at least one of my friends will die. :)

I've heard doing damage to mobs lowers their drop rate.

Because there is no actual legit answer. Anything anyone says is pure speculation. It's all random. BCNM chests aren't like mob drops.

Actually I like this answer a lot. Knowing that chest drops are not affected by moon phase and TH is a huge help. Ive been wondering about this for a long time too. Thanks for the 'best' answer myrrh.
