Yeah so i get my THF to 52 the other day... that was a bit of a hardcore PT but im not posting this as a flame....
0/11000 exp gives me quite a goal tnl....
then i look down and notice something not right.....
my HP caps at 666!!!!
Since then its been nothing but hell.....
i also got a crappy memory of things.... so ill tell what i can remember (and nothing extra)
1st PT after level up
lasts 357 experience points before it disbands....
i believe that was in boyahda tree fighting spiders.
A couple of Sickle Slashes and about an hour of time wasted.
2nd PT after level up
i dont remember.... may have been so bad that i just dont want to remember.
3rd PT after level up
i consider putting my flag back up to LFG.... decided since i only had 2hours playtime... not much point...
now this is the ground-breaking mystery..... I GOT AN INVITE WHILE NOT LFG WHILE LIKE 15 OR SO PPL OF LEVEL ACTUALLY WERE LFG. (as a thief i never get invites when LFG.... for me to get one while NOT LFG with that much competition is.... incredible.... or so i thought)
So we go teleport altep enroute to Kuftal.
Once there i take a gander at the PT list and notice the PT layout
BLM BLM WHM PLD SMN THF.......
at first glance this party looks great.... but consider the role of a THF in that party.... basically every other job could have played a better role with that layout and within 20mins i did the PT a favor.... i disbanded.
Was fun having Carbuncle as a SC buddy.... but i had no sata buddy.
4th PT after level up
At this point i realize i didnt party in the late hours of the evening for a long while... and should try it out again.
I find ALOT of people LFG. Whats a THF to do??? Make a pt of course^^
A member off of my JP LS was a 52rdm... decided to make a PT with him.
So i start asking around... my dumb luck has a bunch of people dissapear and so im left with asking JPs (i have no problems with JP... but they tend to have problems with NA). I managed to get a jp monk and a jp pld without a problem. A JP bard gives me a JP ONLY reply (which is why i didnt want to build the JP PT in the first place but the other rdm just didnt want to build it). Later when the PT was almost done building the rdm says that he will talk to the bard. I later got a NA blm.
All camps are way packed of course at that hour. So we end up going to Eldieme. Fighting ghosts and evil elvaan. Ghosts cast sleepga... wasnt pretty... nore was the 60something exp we got off them. Dark Stalkers werent bad exp (120 - 160ish)... but next problem was that the camp had limited monsters and we had to wait for them to repop (maybe only 3 darkstalkers). Not to mention a pesky decent challenge undead duggy pop behind us. Actually it was the dog that was our downfall.... diseasega and some links meaning we couldnt heal MP. Escape... PT Disband
5th PT after level up
NA Primetime. i build PT again of course. NIN RDM BLM RDM MNK THF.
Primetime means 0 good camps of course. I suggest Knight Crawlers in the Nest knowing that nobody ever goes down there. I admitted to not being sure of where to go for it, but said i'd scout out for things i remember (which worked). Problem here was simple Sneak/Inv issues. People kept getting aggro, dying, and getting lost. Team Moral dropped quick and eventually the BLM escapes leaving behind me and the NIN. PT disbands... i tihnk we got maybe 80 or so total exp off of lizard links.
Good thing was that i picked a coffer and everyone got a lil over 4k^^
I find it distasteful to sit here blaming bad party occurances on 1 person in my PT... so i wont name names or try to pinpoint all the blame one anyone. That is whta makes this post not flame.... unless you think of it as me flaming my own dumb luck. Hmmmmmmm
I am now 3400 exp into this level. I dont remember if i even died since i leveled. At this level i'd be happy to get 3400 exp in an hour. It just doesnt work like that though... cause im cursed....... cursed by my own MAX HP..... 666 HP.......
I will be 52 for a LONG time i believe.
