Looks like BF2 with a mech mod, not worth 50$ imo. Also the only site i could find to download the beta (fileplanet which is also what BF2 links you to from the ingame announcement) requires you to subscribe for 5 bucks to get the download. So i say fuck this.

BattleField is kind of fun if you have enough people at a LAN. Even then, the general design is just as bad as CounterStrike. The AI sucks horribly so I don't mess with bots. I played it for a month at LAN partys but I didn't like it overall.

I just had a problem with the poor design. The general gameplay was pretty fun. I prefer the Star Wars rip off of it better.
