No, your questions are irrelevent and without purpose. Derailing the thread is unacceptable per Flameboard rules.
And if you must know something ask me directly, not in a board. My personal life, contrary to popular belief, is not for public record. People just have trouble keeping their mouth shut.

Browns vs whoever

I totally agree ^^

Back to the OP... and who's to say just because a call could have gone the other way, the outcome still wouldn't be the same?

fyi.. I don't care much about football,
But you make a flame about it?!?.... sea hawks missed two field goal attemps, they played a crapy game. I mean they let parker and betis run through them in the 2nd half. yes there were alot of BS calls ALOT of them. but hawks gave up and didnt play their best.

I dont watch NFL much but I watched this game and I have to say those 2 calls that cost Seattle 2 touchdowns were both really weak.

The Seahawks choked plain and simple. Even IF those calls were bad, they still screwed themselves royally.

And on that note, here's a little something to chew on: Although there are blatent fouls on the field (or ice in my case) not only is the referee human, but there are also other thing he may see that you don't. Maybe he let some things go for the other team and did the same for your team as well. And let's also remember, you can't blame a referee for a lost game in the pro league. Not only are players professionals in thier sport, and should know better than to do something blatent to put thier play in jeapordy, but the referee's are also professionals. A face guard tug here, a punch do the abdomen at the bottom of the tackle there... refs can't call it all, and some choose not to depending on the situation. Now, as far as pass interference calls, these should be obvious... but I can't see the Seahawks losing the game because of a handful of bad calls. If they had played as well as they should have, they would have won reguardless.

And honestly, if a ref is doing a poor job, the league will see to it he is dispatched. Again, these are professionals, and you more than likely aren't. Is it okay to complain about what you view to be a poorly played game? Sure! Complaining is human nature! (It's true) But don't think that it's going to be at all effectual in accomplishing... anything. Just remember, they get paid to do this for a living, and you do not.

But then she wouldnt have that defence to hide behind. You'll note she pulls out "Flamebord Rules" when she's run out of other stuff to use.

I need to hide behind nothing, as I said, my personal life is just that. If people truly cared to know, they'd ask me in private. "calling me out" here is nothing but an attempt to make me look bad. It works but it's low. Sorry I don't indulge you all.

Too bad for her this board is moderated by anti-thread dodgers.

Lesson Kids: Don't play in the Flameboard if you can't handle the heat. And especially don't start a thread in the Flameboard after just dodging a thread recently.

You're the one who lied about your fiance (ingame I'm assuming) died to start a pity party for you, I didn't bring it onto the board, you did.

qft... at least imo

I've had experience officiating. Granted it wasn't pro sports, it was only collegiate intramurals, but I'm sure a lot of the stuff we were told applies to the pros. And one thing that sticks out in my mind was that we were always told to stick by our calls. That has changed in the pros thanks to instant replay only because it makes it easier to catch everything on the field affecting the call. I've actually stuck by a call even when the "fans" and some players of one of the teams playing a big game I was calling were upset with my call that resulted in them not making playoffs. I give anyone who officiates, regardless of the level of play, credit because they have to deal with a lot of shit because of their job.

I know a lot of people don't think about it that way. Hell, I even say that I think certain calls are bad, or an official is being biased, but like Ex said, that's human nature. Just don't assume that because a call went a certain way it would have drastically changed the outcome of a play. Maybe that QB sneak wasn't a TD, but if it wasn't 4th down, they could have scored anyway on the next play. So that -7 pts wouldn't have happened.

Too true Meeze. And with that, I'll carry myself off to bed. Work calls for me early in the morn^^.

Yeah, they have a hard job, harder than a lot of other jobs out there.. they do their best, but when they get a chance to review and correct it.... and dont? Thats harsh. I live with bad calls, I played soccer most my life and MANY calls sucked. But they didnt cost us games.
