Billy Mays

God damn, I've always cherished the man. The other 2 deaths this week were a surprise, but didn't hit me hard. But after a quick nap, I wake up to 2 text messages telling me this, it truly broke my heart. =/

Noooo Billy Mays x.x I love Pitchmen and watch it every week :( You either are annoyed by Billy Mays or not but he was definitely memorable, and I thought his new ESPN commercial was really funny ("The secret is in the Internet connection!"). Goodnight sweet prince

I drew this a couple of months ago

Wow.. holy crap. I was totally not expecting this.. or MJ technically. But wow.. his voice was awesome.

R.I.P. Billy Mays

I hope they still air the new episode of Pitchmen on wednesday with a memorial or something in it. I loved that show so much, and this weeks show was gonna be really good.

That would be a weird coincidence, I think it's much more believable that he died from a cerebral hematoma or hemorrhaging.

Consider that he had heart disease and just suffered a traumatic event - the plane crash - a dream about said crash could have been enough to trigger a heart attack.

Truly sad stuff, and it makes me fearful for someone like my dad, who is pushing closer to 50 and also has heart disease.

Well he said he wasn't feeling well, he should have gotten himself checked out regardless. I would have worried that he would lapse into a coma from a concussion or something if I was his wife. Maybe they would have caught something then. Then again, if it's his heart it may have been too little, too late.

They say bad things happen in 3's, leave it to Billy to throw one in completely free.

People can say what they want about his style, he got the point across.

Billy Mays did not die at age 50, but at the low low age of 49.99

People seem surprised that he had heart disease and died due to related causes...I mean just look at how jacked up he is all the time in his infomercials.

yeah but he always looked pretty fit. not that skinny jackedup crackhead look like the shamwow guy.

Oh man, I had no clue he did satire commercials for ESPN.com, here's a couple of clips.

I despised the man and his voice (gave me headaches to watch his commercials) but it is always sad to see someone pass away like that. My condolences to his family (and children I think?) for the loss they have suffered, nobody could pitch a product like that man. I mean hell, he could sell you sand in the desert!
