Figured I'd write up a good flame since there is a lack.

So I get an invite on my 42 MNK. As we're filling up, the leader Binh, 43 BLU, says I should get ranged attack so I can pull...ya. Kid is rank 9 BTW.

W/e, we get to camp and I get aggro from an exo, and it one shots our PLD with silence gas, then takes half my health with a special...unfortunately he had taken the other half prior to his special.

So the BRD does his sleep don't attack macro...blu still hitting, after a few tries he finally stops. They raise the PLD, and the mob wakes, blu reattacks while brd is trying to sleep. Well, it was a mess, and we continue on.

So while I'm playing close attention to my auto-attacking, I ask why he is meleeing with pilgrim's wand off hand. He replies because he mainly uses magic and isn't a melee. So I ask why he is wearing melee equip like spike necklace, beetle earring+1, and tilt belt. He then goes on about how he can do more damage meleeing...wait wha?

After hurting my brain asking why he is contradicting himself, he says "I can't wait till I hit 50 so i can sub SMN".

It is really worse that I just wrote, but I don't have the energy to go on more, but I may later on.
 
He never would've wanted to sub Summoner at 50 if you didn't get aggro from the Exoray. Oh yeah, Page 3, I'm derailing your shit.
 
lol, that's funny. I kinda know Binh, did a few things with him before and I think he has thf and rdm at 75. Wouldn't think he'd be that noobish though o.O

you can get auto refresh @ 50 or 58 with combo even though auto refresh isnt all that to sub smn for

could just buy juices /shrug

edit: my bad grammar is to isnt lawl

Yea, honestly, PLD would be a better sub option than SMN for BLU...
 
lol noob blu's... Why the hell did he sub nin instead of blm is hes gonna be using magic blu spells

Frightful roar + stinking gas are requiered for auto-refresh on blu's when they can equip the spells. only reason i know this is cause using both of them on a mob adds about 30+ dmg to my shots. gun and bow. i was in love with the spells & asked the blu we had about them. he told me about the combination effect.

he was actually the first blu mage i've ever seen use their spells to enfeeb the mobs instead of going strictly DD like most play.
 
Frightful Roar has a permanent spot on my spell list. Stinking gas is usually right there next to it. I can't stand the idea of strictly DD blu's. God gave us enfeebs for a reason. What's not to like about defense down + vit down?

Because MNKs pulling get so much slack when it comes to maneuvering around mobs that wander in the path towards camp, right?

Or wait, maybe he's a noob for not pulling with sneak up, even though it'd drop the moment he pulls...?

Feel free! I'd love a party. I've been blu/bst'ing it up a lot lately and it gets lonely lol.

I level with him once on Bhaflau Thickets, and he's name do sound familiar anyway...
i was seeking as rdm, and he was also a rdm, he invited me (he was the pt leader) so we end up having 2 rdm (No WHM at the time) he said he'll haste 1/2 of the pt, and melee, (equip with melee gear) i was like WTF in my mind..., and ask myself why is he meleeing, instead of helping me cures and such. So end up me doing the WHM job and RDM job at the same time, keeping that RDM alive and the pt and drain out my MP alot

after he left, we got WHM or DD (i forgot) but we did increased by 2x the amount of exp after he left
 
Someone turn this into a good flame. It's only ok right now. There aren't any good flames left anymore...
