AC/DC released a single song, Rock N Roll Train, from their upcoming album (Black Ice) today. It's their first new song in eight years.

Not their best work in my opinion, but I have high hopes for the album as a whole. Only 52 days left until release.
 
I'm looking forward to their album as well, I heard Rock N' Roll Train on the radio earlier, wasn't too impressed, but like you I have high hopes.
 
The only thing that excites me about a new album would be the prospects of a tour, so I could hear the good stuff.

I've seen older bands like Skynyrd, Poison, etc. live, and every time they try to play some new crap songs, and it totally kills the crowd atmosphere. Stick with the hits boys, that's why people love you. Then release this new stuff under a different alias so that nobody has to hear it at your concert they paid 42 bucks to go see.
 
They are set to start their world tour in late October.
 
It's been out two days now. I ordered the deluxe edition from their website, should arrive on Friday.

I heard the song Black Ice on the radio and I liked it. I would go out an buy the album but I'm currently boycotting RIAA :(
 
I actually like their new song a lot. I have the entire cd on my computer, just haven't gotten around to listening to it yet. I'm fairly sure it'll be decent though.
 
'obtaining' the album now I'll buy some AC/DC merch later. Artist gets more from merch sales anyway
 
Three days late, but it's finally here. This isn't their best work ever, but even still I can't keep the smile off my face as I listen to my all time favorite band.
