PC Black Mesa: Source Once again

elemmire posted about this this morning i think :o

but yeah, this game looks killer

I have to admit. Half-Life 2 doesn't feel the same without Houndeyes.

Also hope they work on Opposing Force afterwards.

edit: Wonder if they're going to mod the RPG to allow fire and forget, as well as laser guided, like it was in HL1, instead of just laser guided.

Looks awesome. This is something I've always wanted Valve to do, ever since HL2 came out, so it's nice to see someone else took the initiative.

I already have the Orange Box, but if Valve packaged a fully revamped HL-remake like this one with Episode Three, I'd be all over that shit again. As much as I love my Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto games, HL is my favorite series.

I agree with Neyla. HL:Source just wasn't the same, in fact it was kinda ridiculous lol.

I'd like to see either OpFor2 or a retooled OpFor, and even a Blue Shift (I loved playing as Barney lol).

And I hate Houndeyes.

Yes, Opposing Force was great.

And fuck you, Houndeyes are the best. BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BWOSH.

Also, what'd be nice is someone doing Decay - since the only way to play Decay is to own the shitty Playstation 2 game with fucked controls and split screen multiplayer. A HL2 mod version with internet co-op for the campaign might actually make the game memorable.

Let's not forget the very high chance that the guys making Black Mesa: Source might get hired by Valve someday. Like John Cook and Ray Walker, two of the three people who developed Team Fortress for Quake - hired to produce Team Fortress Classic and Team Fortress 2.

It would be nice for these guys to be hired by Valve, the amount of work that has gone into a remake like this is freaking legendary.

Imagine, if Valve does hire these guys, do you think the mod will see a console release?
