Black Mesa won Upcoming Mod of the Year over at ModDB.com once again this year, and to celebrate they released the first video of the mod.

Wow. I'm thinking this will be the best Source mod ever. Its been in development for a few years now, and it looks like it's coming along very very well. This seems to be the most polished Source mod to date. Most of the time I feel that mods for Half-Life and Source are a little sloppy, but yet again who can blame them since the teams making them aren't paid unless the mod is popular enough to be picked up by Valve.
Also, for those of you who don't know what Black Mesa is, it's a complete remake of Half-Life, but on the source engine. They're doing a complete overhaul of the game. New models, textures, maps, music, everything. This is what Half-Life: Source should have been, and what Valve expected to be done when everyone found out HL:S was just a straight port of Half-Life.
