Curious as to what everyone uses, as I'm sortof wanting to get a second or third one in case Norton is missing crap. My cousin likes to hop on and read every single piece of spam he gets in his inbox, and suffice to say, the computer's been running at a horrible speed late...taking as long as 10 minutes to fully boot up.

But yeh, anyone know of some good free virus scanners I can try out, or is said concept sortof a myth?

<3 dancing Itachi and Kisama XD

I use NOD32.

McAfee is shit, seriously it's almost as bad as having a virus on your computer. You only see it being used everywhere because it's free subscriptions to it's shitty service and they're too cheap(although for schools I understand) to pay for a good one.

I don't really care :P I don't like it but it seems to work fine and I'm too lazy to look for anything else. LEAVE MAH LAZINESS ALONE XD

My pc uses Avast. I have no idea how good it is since I like to not open up obvious junk/virus infested email or any email for that matter.

I use AVG, works like a charm. Also Ad-Aware is really nice.

I used avast! and I still got viruses and had to reformat my computer. Try avast though, it does work well. Just be sure you're not using IE and you should be fine.
